  • Great Place!

"Trisha was very professional during the signing up for the place. Their condo is beautiful, tastefully decorated and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very conveniently located. The only regret is that we ate out most of the nights and only cooked one night. Their kitchen and grill are great! The cost of the stay is very reasonable. Thanks."

  • Great homebase for a family holiday

"This was our first trip to Hawaii with our 3 daughters (8,7 and 4) and we thoroughly enjoyed using this condo in Vista Waikoloa as our home base! It was just as it is described on the VRBO site - clean, spacious and well-appointed. The directions and instructions to access the condo on the first night as we came in from the airport 15 minutes away at 10:30pm were spot on and easy to follow. The parking spot and pool are close by and it was nice to have a ground floor unit where the kids could get outside on the grass to run around a bit and watch the birds and little chameleons! We enjoyed our meals out on the lanai - it is in a very quiet corner despite the road nearby. It is close to everything (the shops, the Hilton and "A" beach) and we explored some of the nearby state park beaches in our rental car which were wonderful for boogie boarding and snorkelling! The Java Java beach club was close by as well and we enjoyed several sunsets on the beach with cocktails and live music which the girls loved! Some of the beach equipment has seen better days but we appreciated having a chair, some mats and a couple of boogie boards to take to the beach! Not really a negative - the master ensuite shower needs regrouting but is perfectly serviceable and clean. Thank you for letting us share in your little piece of paradise! Mahalo!"

  • Check out the Chef's kitchen - can do some serious cooking here

"This was a perfect condo for our family to stay (including our 87 year old aunt and 2 20-somethings). The kitchen had practically everything you could ask for for any kind of cooking - measuring cups and a supply of all those essentials (like salt, olive oil, plastic wrap) that are often not present in weekly rentals. It made it very easy to be comfortable. Everything else is as described in other reviews - well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Mike and Wendy are very responsive and have a beautiful place. This is luxurious vacationing, so be aware that if you want to experience the "real Hawaii" (ie solar powered off the grid etc), you'll have to drive to it. But if you like to hang out at the pool or in the sandy bottom whirlpool or at the exercise facility overlooking the pacific, you can't beat this place. It is marvelous. There is a great hiking trail right next to the pool and health club - one way goes to the Hilton Waikoloa which is the largest resort hotel I've ever seen. The other goes over broken lava to a black sand beach (after about 25 minutes - you'll want to wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes). The black sand beach has great swimming and snorkeling."
