  • Wonderful vacation on the Big Island

"Our family enjoyed two beautiful and fun weeks on Hawaii in this very comfortable and clean condo. There were 8 of us (ages 13 to 75), which maxed out the beds but we never felt cramped. The unit is in a great location and allowed us to explore the entire island. There are amazing beaches within a short drive, or even walk to the beach in front of the Marriott. The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked nearly all of our own meals. We stocked up on groceries in Kona town and there is a nice market in the Queen's Marketplace. The pool in the complex is very nice, as is the central grill area and work out room. We very much enjoyed the lanai and the view over the golf course in the mornings and evenings. We used the boogie boards, beach towels, and other beach gear that were provided nearly every day. Communications with Carole and Chelsea at Escape to Extraordinary were always very timely and they provided us with all of the information we needed to have a relaxing and fun vacation."

  • Beautiful, well maintained and well furnished condo with Ocean View

"Hali'i Kai is a wonderful complex with a beautiful ocean front pool, spa, food/bar pavilion and work out facility. The community is wonderfully kept and Unit 8H is well positioned to take advantage of a great view of the golf course and ocean. The unit is very clean, very well furnished and stocked, and its owner is very responsive, professional and attentive to his client's needs. One of the purposes of this trip was for us to look at properties to purchase. Thus, we were in and out of several complexes and several condos of various prices and sizes. Hale Kai is top notch, and this Unit is up there with the very best we saw."

  • A very comfortable and beautiful condo.

"This condo was very clean, updated and quite luxurious. We found everything we needed for cooking, internet, tv and even beach going, with beach towels, chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. It has no wide ocean view, but the grounds are well maintained, tropical and pleasant to look at from the windows and the lanai. We walked every evening to either the Hali'i Kai club, right on the water, or the nearby Hilton grounds for sunset views. We spent every day finding a new and beautiful beach along the nearby coast to swim and snorkel. We even spent a couple afternoons in Kona seeing the sights, as well as several other, nearby picturesque towns, visiting shops, galleries, breweries and even a coffee plantation tour. On our last morning before our flight we walked through the petroglyph field within the Waikoloa Beach resort area. Amazing! There was really more to do in that area than we could accomplish so are looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii, and would definitely hope John Johnson's Hali'i Kai condo was available."

  • Maggie from Canada

"This condo is ideally situated, being across street from Queens shops, which makes it very handy to everything. It was nicely furnished, with everything you could possibly want. The dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc. we're first class, as were the other little nice touches that were left to make us feel at home. We literally had every breakfast, or any meal we ate, out on the lanai, overlooking the golf course. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone, and know, that when we return to Waikoloa, this would be our first choice. Jan was only a text away, and always available! That, in itself is rare!"
