  • Great Location, Great Island for family with two teenage sons

"This was my family's first trip to be Big Island and our first time renting a condo and using VRBO. We had a wonderful time and loved how the condo provided such ease of use for everything. It was so convenient to load the car with the provided beach gear (chairs, toys, boogie boards, ice chests) and head to the beach. We also used the provided bikes to ride over to the nearby shopping areas. We also found the location convenient for driving to other areas of the Island. We were there 8 nights and spent quite a bit of time finding adventure across the Island. Snorkeling, surfing, golf, helicopter rides, volcanoes, cliff jumping, sea turtles, mongooses, and fresh fruit markets were all a short and un-crowded drive away. We also found a free luau type show they perform every Monday evening at The Shops of Mauna Lani which is only a short 5 minute drive. My wife and I were able to enjoy the entire top floor while our two teenage sons were very content with the first floor. We really enjoyed opening the patio doors to listen to the birds early in the morning and found everything peaceful and relaxing."

  • Re-Energized

"Like most all readers of this review, we work so hard year round and desperately needed this two week time to rest, relax, re-connect, shut the world out and rejuvenate. We were so pleased with our stay, we were able to accomplish all these things. Our ambitions were small, sleep, beach and paddle board during the day, come back and have some lunch a couple hours at the pool shower, dinner, martini...repeat!! Heck we even binge watched Game of Thrones which all of our friends said we should watch!!! The location was perfect we could walk virtually everywhere, bed was comfortable, Dan and Marion attentive. We intend to return. Strongly consider this property if looking Steve and Sandy"

  • Pleasant stay, great location

"Very nice to be off the ground level to be able to feel secure and comfortable leaving the doors open at night. The breeze was wonderful. Lots of ceiling fans. Clean, well equipped kitchen. Pleasant dining on the lanai. The unit much nicer in person that is captured in the photos. Excellent location. Lovely view, but this is not an ocean view. You can see a bit of the ocean through some other properties and trees on the coast — but not well. We looked at many units in the same complex and found this cleaning fee to be higher than most for the same service. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider staying again."

  • honeymooners return

"We stayed in condo #3D on our honeymoon in 2013 and have returned. When we walked in the front door, we immediately noticed the new wood flooring in the living area. This was especially nice since we brought our 11 month old baby with us and his spills could be easily wiped. On the lanai, everything has been replaced: the table and chairs set and the BBQ grill. Since the Weber grill is the same model that we have back home, my husband decided to grill most of our meals. Our baby enjoyed the kiddy section of the Ocean Club pool, especially the squirting turtle. We purchased a baby float that had a shade because there is not much cover from the sun (our little guy doesn't like hats). Thanks again, Pam, for sharing your home with us. We hope to return again sometime."
