  • Maggie from Canada

"This condo is ideally situated, being across street from Queens shops, which makes it very handy to everything. It was nicely furnished, with everything you could possibly want. The dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc. we're first class, as were the other little nice touches that were left to make us feel at home. We literally had every breakfast, or any meal we ate, out on the lanai, overlooking the golf course. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone, and know, that when we return to Waikoloa, this would be our first choice. Jan was only a text away, and always available! That, in itself is rare!"

  • Very nice

"Ok, I am an owner that rents a condo in Michigan, we have strict requirements from our association. So everything was very nice and clean except for the carpet area close to the kitchen. Really in a need of a good scrub. Simple suggestions, better lighting and purchase clocks for 2nd bedroom and living area. Island time is one thing, but no time is another thing. Other than that, we had a great stay. Enjoyed watching golfers on the lanai in the morning shade. Small issue that could not be helped, very noisy group above us for numerous days. We called and asked issue to be addressed, but thought we were blown off."

  • A very comfortable and beautiful condo.

"This condo was very clean, updated and quite luxurious. We found everything we needed for cooking, internet, tv and even beach going, with beach towels, chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. It has no wide ocean view, but the grounds are well maintained, tropical and pleasant to look at from the windows and the lanai. We walked every evening to either the Hali'i Kai club, right on the water, or the nearby Hilton grounds for sunset views. We spent every day finding a new and beautiful beach along the nearby coast to swim and snorkel. We even spent a couple afternoons in Kona seeing the sights, as well as several other, nearby picturesque towns, visiting shops, galleries, breweries and even a coffee plantation tour. On our last morning before our flight we walked through the petroglyph field within the Waikoloa Beach resort area. Amazing! There was really more to do in that area than we could accomplish so are looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii, and would definitely hope John Johnson's Hali'i Kai condo was available."
