  • Great condo

"Great place to stay for a week. Good space for a family. Nice view of the golf course. Great amenities. Excellent beaches in short drives. Only drawback is poor soundproofing architecture. Received multiple complaints from neighbor below about kids "walking around" upstairs before 8am. Really nothing that could be done to prevent this."

  • Family trip to Hawaii

"We had a wonderful time at this condo with our family, there was plenty of space for all 6 of us to spread out. My only concern is the condo is not really "fully stocked" We needed to buy toilet paper, paper towels, foil, not to mention salt/pepper plus other spices. Propane for the BBQ is not included either. This made it difficult for us and we ended up not using the BBQ. The condo has been "well loved" by guests and upon arrival first glance was very nice, now it is very nice and spacious but like I said it has been "well loved" and is in need of some clean up/repairs. The carpet is stained, the downstairs living couches, dinning chairs, and patio furniture have signs of lots of love. Quite a few of the bath towels were very used and in need of retirement. It was very humid during our stay and ceiling fans on the patio would have been fabulous....we saw that other units do have fans. Stacy was very attentive to issues with appliances and the garage door key pad when we arrived explaining those are due to be replaced soon. The key pad was replaced during our stay and the garage was wonderful to park in as the parking situation is limited if you have more than one car. The garage of full of beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella. Other than those issues our family had a wonderful time on the Big Island. The condo is in the perfect area with the pool right across the parking lot, within walking distance to the Queens, Kings Shops, the Hotels and the beach. We found Beach 69 10 min north to the left at mile marker 69. Great little spot for snorkeling!"

  • Excellent place for multigenerational trip

"My family (husband, 2yo toddler, parents, in-laws, and sister-in-law) all traveled to the big island last week and this place was perfect for all 8 of us. They have everything that a toddler could need (my son was particularly fond of the dump truck and boat for water play!). My adult sister-in-law loved the access to the Hilton pool, since she ran off there almost everyday of our trip. My in-laws loved the full kitchen. My parents loved the rice cooker! It is within walking distance to Queens Marketplace and the local "grocery store" where we picked up spam musubi for breakfast. Everything was basically walkable from the house if you didn't have a car. The SIL walked to and from the Hilton most days. The place was very clean and perfect for our needs since we had age 2 to 70 on the trip with us. Also, there is 1 bedroom on the ground floor, which is perfect for anyone who has a person in their party that has a difficult time taking the stairs. The owners are very quick to respond and so were the property managers. I will definitely use this place again for our next trip to the Big Island"

  • Home away from home, nice central location, close to sand beaches, snorkling, and shopping.

"We arrived to the condo after a late flight from the mainland. I would suggest making a right turn at the main road and making a stop at Walmart (15 min.south of airport) for snacks and refreshments then head north to the condo (about 15 min. north of airport). Using the instructions from the owner, we easily entered the gated community, and then the condo. The beds were comfortable, even the fold-out couch. Air-conditioning was a plus! In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised with the view! The lanai is large, almost like two more rooms. Plenty of space for up to 6 people. We were a group of 5, and never felt crowded. We used the pool everyday. Plenty of seating and umbrellas, clean and welcoming. We didn't use the fitness center, but it looked well stocked. In the same building as the fitness center, is the business center, a computer and printer available. We used the boogie boards and snorkeled with our own gear at A-Bay beach. It is about a 10 min. walk, but we drove. There is a free day-use parking area at Kolea Kai Cir. just before the Marriot. We were able to eat most meals at the condo, but did try and enjoyed the food court at the Queen's mall. Right next door to the condo is Tropics Ale house. They had good and affordable pub grub during the daily happy hours. Ascension Catholic church is about 17 minutes north in Puako with 10am Mass on Sunday. The check out time is 11am and we had a late night flight. I would recommend booking an extra night at the condo, or check with Leroy if a late check out is possible. The owner, Leroy was very easy to work with, returning calls right away. Definitely would recommend, and hope to return. Thank you to Leroy and all the guests before us for making the condo a home away from home."
