  • Great place for large ohana

"We had a great family trip while staying at this lovely condo. Our group included 5 adults and a toddler. We were able to stay for 9 days in paradise in early July 2016. Upon entering the condo we were blown away by the floor plan and the updated amenities that were provided. The master bedroom/bathroom is huge and the bed was very comfy. We had the two twins converted into a king, which was spacious, and the queen room was nice. The condo was very clean and neat. They also provide a great assortment of items in the kitchen and a ton of things to use at the beach. Air conditioning worked great. We ate almost every meal on the patio which had 6 chairs. When traveling with a toddler we thought that it was great that they had a pack-n-play that we could use, a baby gate for the stairs, and a chair that a toddler can use (not a high chair, but a seat with a tray that you can put onto a chair. The only issue that our toddler ran into was that the living room is down two steps from the kitchen area, which could provide a falling hazard, but mitigated through a few lessons on going up and down stairs. Located right next to the pool, which is hardly used (large pool and an attached baby pool). Also by the pool are two gas BBQ's that are open for use. We never had a problem snagging one. New washer and dryer were great and were a great help since this reduced the number of clothes that we had to bring (thus reducing baggage charges). The unit has one assigned parking spot and if you have another vehicle (like we did) you have to park in a non reserved spot. We had no problem at all finding a spot. Close to A' Beach (would drive there definitely, long walk). Also close to the Hilton, but not the most stroller friendly location. Owner was very prompt in answering our questions and provided us with lots of information on places to go and eat on the island. Booking process was painless and easy to do. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a well priced condo to meet the needs of a large family."

  • Wonderful vacation on the Big Island

"Our family enjoyed two beautiful and fun weeks on Hawaii in this very comfortable and clean condo. There were 8 of us (ages 13 to 75), which maxed out the beds but we never felt cramped. The unit is in a great location and allowed us to explore the entire island. There are amazing beaches within a short drive, or even walk to the beach in front of the Marriott. The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked nearly all of our own meals. We stocked up on groceries in Kona town and there is a nice market in the Queen's Marketplace. The pool in the complex is very nice, as is the central grill area and work out room. We very much enjoyed the lanai and the view over the golf course in the mornings and evenings. We used the boogie boards, beach towels, and other beach gear that were provided nearly every day. Communications with Carole and Chelsea at Escape to Extraordinary were always very timely and they provided us with all of the information we needed to have a relaxing and fun vacation."

  • Vista A301/Stylish Waikoloa Condo

"Thank you very much for a memorable week of swimming, snorkeling and relaxation! You have a very special place in A301 and we feel fortunate to have experienced the Kohala Coast from your home-base. Both the interior and lanai of the condo are so nice. It was lovely to be able to see the ocean from almost everywhere. We appreciate the welcome goodies and enjoyed the fruit and plenty of coffee from the Gaggia - that is an awesome machine! We treated your place with the respect and care it deserves - it is pretty fabulous. The art, furnishings and just about everything! You all created a super special place here in HI. It was also so nice to have all the beach supplies to use - that really helped. We will be recommending it to like-minded pals back in the Bay Area, for sure. Thank you again for sharing Brendan and Judith - Aloha!"

  • Best place to stay in waikoloa beach

"Beautiful and spacious with lots of extra amenities. This condo was high class with a feel of home. You could cook in this kitchen but the restaurant/bar at the pool is the best place to be. The staff at this place are friendly and professional. I would recommend it to anyone."
