  • Paradise in Waikoloa

"I really loved this unit. It was spacious and beautifully furnished - much nicer looking than the photos. The modern kitchen has more than I could imagine using including a full set of dishes, coffee maker, a spice rack and cooking oils. There is a beautiful lanai that looks out onto a large landscaped grassy area and the gorgeous complex pool. The unit has lots of equipment including boogie boards and snorkle gear. The Queens shopping center is a very short walk away and has restaurants and a full-service market. The beach is only a short walk away, and so is the Lava Lava club, a great place to hang out and watch the sunset. Sherry was very helpful. I'll be back for sure!"

  • Check out the Chef's kitchen - can do some serious cooking here

"This was a perfect condo for our family to stay (including our 87 year old aunt and 2 20-somethings). The kitchen had practically everything you could ask for for any kind of cooking - measuring cups and a supply of all those essentials (like salt, olive oil, plastic wrap) that are often not present in weekly rentals. It made it very easy to be comfortable. Everything else is as described in other reviews - well-appointed and extremely comfortable. Mike and Wendy are very responsive and have a beautiful place. This is luxurious vacationing, so be aware that if you want to experience the "real Hawaii" (ie solar powered off the grid etc), you'll have to drive to it. But if you like to hang out at the pool or in the sandy bottom whirlpool or at the exercise facility overlooking the pacific, you can't beat this place. It is marvelous. There is a great hiking trail right next to the pool and health club - one way goes to the Hilton Waikoloa which is the largest resort hotel I've ever seen. The other goes over broken lava to a black sand beach (after about 25 minutes - you'll want to wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes). The black sand beach has great swimming and snorkeling."

  • Fantastic Condo in Waikoloa Village

"We had an excellent stay at the condo at Waikoloa Village! There were 5 of us- me, my husband, and our 3 children ages 17, 13 and 7. It was the perfect size for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. Kevin was so helpful in sending us tips for travel and places to visit. The condo was in great condition and was fully stocked with everything you could need- towels, beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. The beautiful pool was right off the lanai and was visible from most rooms in the condo which was very convenient with older kids going back and forth to the pool. It was also not at all crowded like some of the bigger resort pools are. We used the BBQs at the pool several nights for dinner. The location was good- on the sunny side of the island, only a short drive to Kona, 5 minutes from Hapuna Beach and right down the street from shopping and restaurants. The condo was a perfect home away from home for our week in Hawaii! We hope to make it back someday."

  • Incredible sunsets

"Older home, but mostly well maintained. The views alone are worth staying here."
