  • Surrounded by trees, birds and paradise - an absolutely fantastic place to relax and explore

"Over time, we have stayed in all of the homes. We have found them to be extremely well stocked in all categories (including numerous old school board games). The beds and furniture are comfortable. The outdoor showers are the perfect end to a day of sun, sand and beach. The remote area may seem daunting at first but you are literally 25 minutes from some world class beaches. Waking up to the sounds of waves, birds, cows and donkeys is just an out of world experience and really brought to home that we were in paradise. The property managers are extremely responsive and do their best to make your stay even better. I will definitely return."

  • Home away from home

"This home was clean and beautiful. I felt right at home as did my husband and two small kids. The kitchen was nicely stocked and for things I didn't have, Foodland Farms was just minutes away and a very good little grocery store. In the same complex was a some shops (HIC surf shop, Ruth's Chris, Kimobean Hawaiian Coffee, a 4D experience (good distraction for the rainy day!)). W/D was very nice to have. They had beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs. Loved this home, would definitely recommend to my friends (I already have actually). Mahalo Wendi and Larry. Your aloha was truly appreciated!!"

  • Another amazing vacation in paradise

"This was our second stay at Donna's beautiful home in paradise. Our first trip in October 2014 was with another couple, no kids, and we had an amazing time. This time we had two couples, two adult children and our toddler. Once again, our stay could not have been better. This home is beautifully decorated and the views are amazing. It is conveniently located right next to the amenity center and pool, which was great for our little one who wanted to swim every day. The highlight as always was the use of the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels and their beaches. Our son loved his first time swimming in the beautiful ocean at Mauna Kea! We had an amazing time at the beach, the pool, and just spending time on the lanai having family dinners watching the sunset and the Fourth of July fireworks. Donna and Marcie make renting this home easy, and even provide you with a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The home had a pack-n-play and highchair for our son, as well as beach and pool toys. We could not have asked for more. As usual, we were sad to leave when our week was over. We are already looking forward to our next trip to the beautiful Wai Ula Ula!"

  • Charming, well-appointed, great views

"We stayed four nights at the Lokahi Garden Sanctuary. A beautiful location on a working farm, this was a great launching off point to explore Hawi and the north side of the Big Island. While not walkable to the ocean, the views of the Pacific are fantastic, and you can see across to Maui on a clear day. The house is clean and well-appointed, with everything we could have needed. Our hosts were the right amount of welcoming (bringing us fruit from the farm) but otherwise hands off. Note that as a working farm, there a number of farmhands and others around during the day, but we found them unobtrusive and didn't even notice after a day or two. Highly recommend this spot to others, and would stay here again should we return to the Big Island."
