  • Delightful Cottage

"My husband and I spent 3 night's at Alice's cottage. We chose the property because it was so close to a cultural event that we planned to attend on the first morning of our stay. We live on the other side of the island, several hours away, so driving in the early morning wasn't an option as the event started at 6:30 AM. The location was ideal but the cottage itself was even better. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and absolutely restful and peaceful. We especially loved the comfortable bed and the walk-in shower, both of which make a big difference when traveling, but really everything in the cottage was just lovely. We stopped in Waimea for groceries on our way to the cottage so made most of our meals there, but we also enjoyed shave ice from the truck in the Blue Dragon parking lot in Kawaihae (Original Big Island Shave Ice) as well as take-out sliders and fries from the Blue Dragon. The cottage is within minutes of several world-class beaches, so we spent several afternoons snorkeling at various spots. We also took a drive around the North Kohala and Hamakua Coast and spent one afternoon in Kailua Kona. The cottage is convenient to everything on that side of the island. And the sunsets are spectactular! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you, Alice."

  • Great condo, well equipped!

"Our family of 4 stayed in this condo in August 2016. It is very spacious, and very well appointed!! There is a wide variety of beach gear. We used the boogie boards extensively, and also the beach umbrella, but I think I also remember there being chairs, beach blankets, and maybe even snorkel gear. There was also 2 bikes there, a cooler, and assorted other items. Wi-fi worked well. The location is awesome, convenient to the close grocery store (walkable), the lava lava club for happy hour, A-Bay for sunsets, and a short drive from the wonderful northside beaches like Hapuna, Mauna Kea, and Beach 69. Kona is maybe 20 minutes away. The grill right on the Lanai was very convenient. Washer and dryer also very convenient (though the washer is really loud when it runs). Would definitely stay here again when we return."

  • Great 2 Week Stay

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the guidebooks in the condo described the Vista Waikoloa as a Bargain & we would agree. It has a great location though not directly oceanfront. We stayed in E-303 for 2 weeks & loved it. From the lanai, we had a great view of the gorgeous sunrises looking left in the morning & of the glorious sunsets in the evening looking right. Straight ahead we could see A-Bay as well as a "far away" peek at the ocean itself. The condo was large & we really appreciated the half bath as well as the 2 full baths with the 2 bedrooms. Very comfortable place to stay. Some units have wet bars on the lanai; this unit does not. I would have liked having our own bbq but I don't think any of the units here at their own. While there is a common area with bbq's we didn't feel like making use of those. All in all, a great stay & a wonderful place."

  • Q1 Golf Villas can simply be described as staying in an oasis located within paradise

"We have had the pleasure of staying in Q1 Golf Villas for the past 6 years. As described in our June 2014 review, Q1 Golf Villas can simply be described as staying in an oasis located within paradise. The owners are constantly upgrading the unit and each year it is more impressive which is hard to do when it is already excellent. Q1 is a corner unit which provides for a bright living space as there are large windows along the side. This accompanied by the 2 lanai's provides for a serene atmosphere. The other reviews written are also very complementary and there are no derogatory comments to consider. The unit has 3 full baths which is fabulous for a family of 6. The cleanliness of the condo is impeccable and the owner Marc is very reasonable to deal with and incredibly responsive when contacted. He is supported by a very capable management company on the island who look after any matters required. The unit has every utensil, plate, cup you can imagine. The private beach is a very nice touch and the property has an excellent workout area and the pool is fantastic. You can’t go wrong staying at Q1."
