  • Another relaxing visit....

"We first visited the Vintage Beach Cottage last fall, and there was an opportunity to grab the only week available (do to a cancellation) before the summer, so we came back. We have been all over the islands, and by far, the Vintage Beach Cottage has been our all around favorite. We usually stay in beach front condo's, but this place is PRIVATE, and QUIET. It is so easy to relax, and you can hear the ocean constantly even though you are not beach front. The ocean is right across the street, and you get a peak of it through the living room. Speaking of which, the accommodations are immaculate, impeccable, and the amenities are nothing like staying in a generic condo. As soon as you walk in the door, you know you are home. It is a very spacious one bedroom and has everything you need to have a fabulous time. The kitchen is better equipped then my own kitchen at home. We definitely will be back when we get the chance. Thank you Mary, Marley and Cynthia for another fab stay!"

  • Fantastic Hawaiian Accommodations!

"Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dennis' condo! We spent just under 3 weeks on the Big Island, and the condo was a perfect size to allow us to relax and spread out (the upstairs/downstairs configuration was perfect to give the adults and kids some separate space). Mauna Lani is a perfect spot from which to venture out on activities all over the island. We were just 1/2 hour from Kona/Kailua area, 1/2 or so from Waimea/Kohala/Hawi activities, and 1 1/2-2 hours from Hilo/Volcano area - perfect! The location itself is peaceful and quiet, but very close to lots of great beaches and the busier Waikoloa area. We made good use of the private beach parking card, and my husband and son enjoyed daily access to the onsite fitness room. The condo is absolutely lovely, and very well appointed! Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay! Dennis and Marci are both so friendly and great to work with (special thanks to Dennis for being so responsive when the AC went out - he had a repair person there to fix it the next day - a Sunday no less)! We'd recommend this condo to anyone, and would absolutely return next time we find ourselves on Hawaii. Thanks so much again! :)"

  • Well stocked for our trip. Wish we had known more.

"I was born and raised on the Big Island and this location is perfect for getting around the island, close to many of my favorite beaches, and full of supplies for adventures in Hawaii. I really wish we knew a little more about what the place had available so we could have packed a little better. There is a washer and dryer on the premises, so we could have packed fewer clothes. There is tons of snorkel gear, 3 boogie boards, and assorted games throughout. These are all great things for the place to have, I just wish they were better advertised. Biggest complaint is the lack of air conditioning. Not much of a problem at night or in the morning, but a little brutal during the day."

  • Cozy, private and quiet. Close to town.

"The cabin in the woods was just what I needed for a few nights stay. It has everything I needed, was easy to find and was comfortable if you're okay with very close quarters (which I am)."
