  • Neat house with a great view

"This property suited our needs as a place to stay while visiting other places on the island. We arrived after dark and left at or before dawn each morning. The house was well apportioned and comfortable. The driveway was a bit steeper than we'd imagined and during wet weather (our first night of arrival), we had difficulty getting up it. I'd suggest if you're planning on exploring the island, an all-wheel drive vehicle would be recommended and that would be helpful on this driveway too. There is black sand, lava crumbles beach at the bottom of the development. We were unaware of this until after we checked out, we spoke to a neighboring property owner and they informed us of it and said it's quite good for snorkeling and light boarding."

  • Honeymooning Forever

"Our Honeymoon was truly in paradise. The home was perfect... A showering of warm smells of fruit and flowers filled us as we entered the driveway. Perfectly clean soft cotton sheets invited us to sleep off our flights... On awakening we walked out to our host's beautiful garden and were greeted by the host. A map of the island, suggestions of best restaurants, and things to do and were provided by the gracious host, Jill Ami. Later dressed, we followed Jill Ami down to the beautiful Manini bay. I loved our time, the beauty of the island and the home. Must plan to return soon. Thank you, Jill Ami for everything"

  • Kealakekau bay at its finest

"This property exceeded our expectations. It is a wonderful combination of modern comfort and old world style Hawaii. We were so close to the beauty of the islands, yet far away from the hustle and bustle of tourist life. We would like to thank the owner of the property and Karen, the downstairs resident, for sharing their slice of paradise. Bob Thompson and Sue Richmond February, 2017"
