  • all what it is described. spacious, clean, comfotable upper level house to yourself.

"Todd greated and welcomed us. He made sure everything was ok. A bowl of fruit was waiting for us and most condiments available in a very well provided kitchen. Easy to find using the directions. You have the unit to yourself. The main house is a way away. This is not a 5 star establishment, but it is clean and comfortable. The road down to the farm and the farm itself is best described as rustic as are most of these small old Kona coffee holdings in the area seem to be. It probally wont be long before the large corps start cobbling them up."

  • Both thumbs up!

"This was an excellent find, thanks to the verbal recommendation from a friend at work. We've stayed just a few doors down from this place a few years ago. The location is perfect; quiet, significantly cooler than down below, clean air, no traffic, VERY narrow road but residents are accommodating (make sure your car has enough power to climb---no you don't need a 4 wheel drive), abundance of avocados, wonderful banana bread (Gretchen, would you share your recipe?), and last, but not least, the best coffee on the planet right there where it is grown. You won't be sorry in booking this gem of a find."

  • Great Experience

"We spent two nights here and had a great time. Garry took us out snorkeling and showed us wonderful places that we would not have seen on our own or with a paid snorkel boat. We are very grateful for the experience!!!!! The house is large but you will want to spend your time on the Lanai (screened covered porch). The living part of the house is 2nd floor and looks out on a wonderful canopy of tropical vegetation. The sounds of the birds and frogs are a joy to listen to. It is at the end of a dead end road with a very private setting. If you want to snorkel or dive the South Kona area this is a real opportunity offered at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for granite counters and 600 thread sheets you won't find them. But, if you are looking for a wonderful experience of staying in a tropical rain forest by night and snorkeling or diving or exploring by day - this is a great choice."

  • Great Stay in Lovely Studo

"This is our second stay in the Middle Keei Rd. studio. A great location in Honaunau, especially if you want to escape the maddening crowds in Kailua and points north. Close to shopping and ocean activities and the famed Painted Church Road. For the independent traveler it is a great fit. Now, if we could just find a place to buy we would be there all the time!"
