  • Family vacation

"We loved our stay here. It's a perfect location short drive to town. We enjoyed the amazing sunsets every night. Our kids loved having their own pools and bedrooms with their own bathrooms. I would recommend this house to anyone with kids old enough to swim."

  • Fourth of July

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth trip to the island and we stayed here over the 4th of July. Kona is a great area and staying in Keahou Estates is fantastic if you are looking for sweeping panoramic views and quiet! You are about 15-20 minutes away from downtown Kona (not a lot of restaurant choices but there are a few, however if you are staying at the house in general you are cooking your meals and sitting on the Lanai enjoying the fabulous sunsets). For better dining options you need to go about 35-45 minutes up the shore to Waikoloa village Where there are several options for dinner. There is also a nice beach at waikaloa that is good for young kids, but if you like waves then go to Hapuna which is another 10-15 minutes north. Bigger waves can be found on the south side of the island (green sand beach which we visit every time). There is also a lovely black sand beach about 15-20 minutes past the south point road exit. About the house.....Its beautiful and we would definitely return. The upkeep could be a little better but it is the ocean and Hawaii so sometimes that's to be expected. We recommend the surround sound get repaired so it can be used as well as the receiver which controls most of the media (they were not working). Outside of some other small issues which Kona Coast took care of promptly everything was wonderful! Kudos to Kona Coast and their professionalism! And a warm Mahalo to the owners for opening up their beautiful home to us! This is a driving island and there are many great places to go so explore!"

  • Hawaiian Oasis

"I am writing this review because I believe no matter what ads or pictures say, they say only so much and reviews make a huge difference. With that said, I don't know if I can find the right words to express this amazing Hawaiian oasis. As soon as we drove up it was simply breath taking as good as the photos are it does not do this amazing home justice. There isn't one negative thing to say, the house was very comfortable, spacious. and inviting. Every single room was amazing, not one great room and the rest just alright, each and every room was awesome. The pool and lanai was perfect the sunset and sunrise left you speechless. I seriously could go on and on. In closing this review I have to thank Adam the caretaker, he is awesome what a great person, and there if you need him in a minute with great advice for all kinds of things. It was the best experience I have ever had. I cant say it enough. We will be back for sure. Mahalo"

  • Wonderful!!

"What a beautiful home, perched on the hill, with a panoramic view of the ocean!! We enjoyed our stay on the Big Island and this house offered it all. Wonderful kitchen, quiet bedrooms, delightful pool and a location that is central to many of the Island’s wonders. The home is located in a very quiet, gated community, yet despite being in a neighborhood, you felt like you were in a private reserve. We traveled the Island with our niece, who lives on the Island, so we took in many of the sights, sounds, tastes, and smells of the Island. Tropical fruit, Kona coffee, rain forests and botanical reserves, kayaking to the Captain Cook monument, snorkeling with the manta rays, and so much more! Mahalo!"
