  • Convenient, comfortable, cozy

"We enjoyed an easy week at this centrally located Kona Shores location. The enclosed garden is a favorite for songbirds which chattered as we drank morning coffee on the patio. The unit has a spacious feel - its corner location looks out, between buildings, to the ocean and above the cars in the lot which are hidden from view by the garden shrubs. All the comforts of home are in the unit. The location has ocean access and a short walk to town or to beaches. It was a perfect hideaway for the two of us."

  • Everything could ask for

"We loved our stay at the Hale Honu studio! Convenient location to beaches, restaurants, etc. Very private (it may have helped that no one was staying upstairs) with beautiful ocean views (AND lots of turtles as advertised). Lot of amenities: beach gear, hammock, hot tub, stocked kitchen. Hope to return to Hale Honu on our next trip to Hawaii!"

  • Beautiful little piece of paradise- enjoyed our stay!

"Older building but newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen inside- comfortable, clean and beautiful living space. Location was easy to find- directly across the street from Magic Sands, fantastic beach and sunset views and a short drive into town or other nearby sites (coffee houses/plantations, Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, Manago Hotel). No air conditioning but large fans helped a lot. During our stay, water heater was being repaired so hot water was turned off but taking cold showers wasn't an issue. Helpful and informative neighbors were great too. Thanks for a great stay!"
