  • Generally fine - As advertised with good location/view/toys

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental matches the pictures and description. It's a good value with good amenities for the the price of rental. Easy to rent and use. As we could tell from the images when we booked, it is apparent the place has been used and could use some attention and an update. However Overall Good value in our view for ocean front."

  • Fourth of July

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our fourth trip to the island and we stayed here over the 4th of July. Kona is a great area and staying in Keahou Estates is fantastic if you are looking for sweeping panoramic views and quiet! You are about 15-20 minutes away from downtown Kona (not a lot of restaurant choices but there are a few, however if you are staying at the house in general you are cooking your meals and sitting on the Lanai enjoying the fabulous sunsets). For better dining options you need to go about 35-45 minutes up the shore to Waikoloa village Where there are several options for dinner. There is also a nice beach at waikaloa that is good for young kids, but if you like waves then go to Hapuna which is another 10-15 minutes north. Bigger waves can be found on the south side of the island (green sand beach which we visit every time). There is also a lovely black sand beach about 15-20 minutes past the south point road exit. About the house.....Its beautiful and we would definitely return. The upkeep could be a little better but it is the ocean and Hawaii so sometimes that's to be expected. We recommend the surround sound get repaired so it can be used as well as the receiver which controls most of the media (they were not working). Outside of some other small issues which Kona Coast took care of promptly everything was wonderful! Kudos to Kona Coast and their professionalism! And a warm Mahalo to the owners for opening up their beautiful home to us! This is a driving island and there are many great places to go so explore!"

  • Had a wonderful stay in Kona at your condo, well equipped and a great location.

"The property is obviously well maintained and the mature plantings really added to the Hawaiian experience."

  • Great Location, Beautiful View!

"A tastefully appointed, and well equipped condo. Almost every morning we ate breakfast on the lanai with a stunning view of the ocean. Jackie was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Convenient to Ali'i drive (for anyone traveling for the Ironman). An excellent base for your adventures, and also a great place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I did both. :)"
