  • A Kona Island in the sun

"This unit is truly ocean front. Beautiful grounds immaculately maintained. The pictures are very accurate in showing the upgrades to E-24. Everything you need is there. More than adequate closet space & amenities, and the most comfortable bed you've ever been in. The upgraded shower is fabulous. Jim & Penny have added plenty of extras so you won't need to buy anything but food, beverages, and good times. The wifi signals are a bit weak except in bedroom but that's a resort problem. The saltwater pool can be noisy late into the night when the surf is up but that's due to rude & inconsiderate people. The lanai faces the ocean, so expect gorgeous sunsets & breathtaking views. Frequently seen is a large dolphin pod often leaping & spinning as they pass by. Jim & Penny stay here themselves at least once a year to keep the unit in tiptop condition as they are hands on owners rather than leaving matters to a manager that might not be as concerned about keeping things in good shape. We look forward to staying here again someday."

  • Very nice condo with all amenities

"My wife and I stayed in this condo for a month in January 2017. This was our 18th visit to Kona and it was one of the best condos that we have ever stayed at on the Big Island. We found it to be very clean and it had everything that we needed or wanted during our vacation. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and spices. All of the appliances worked well and the fridge had an ice dispenser that came in handy. The living room and master bedroom was comfortable with a nice cross breeze and the ceiling fans provided enough cooling that we did not have to turn on the air conditioners. There were flat screen TV's in the living room (with PVR) and master bedroom. The master bedroom had a comfortble king size bed with sufficient closets and plenty of dresser drawers. Having two bathrooms with showers was a luxury. The lanai was quiet and perfect for the two of us to enjoy some beautiful mai tai sunsets. We were impressed with the amount of beach equipment including boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas and ice chests that have generally been in short supply in other units we have rented in the past. A dedicated parking stall was also nice to come home to after a long drive around the island. As we prefer the beach, we only used one of the two pools in the complex during our trip. The pool and BBQ area was clean and very closely monitored by pool security. In the past we have never booked with VRBO and Jan immediately addressed our concerns to put us at ease. She was easy to communicate with and promptly responded to any concerns and questions. We will definitely be back! Mahalo and Aloha."

  • Perfect for us

"This condo was perfect for our stay 11/26 thru 1/7. Very comfy and homey. The pool and community area was close by and well maintained. Close to town if you want to explore but we appreciate proximity to our favorite restaurants. We are hoping to stay again started Nov 2017. The owner was very accommodating and friendly, she went the extra mile for us when we locked ourselves out. We really appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was and spent lots of time out in the quaint and comfy back yard. Thank you Lauren for your warm open hospitality. AnneMarie Madsen Rathdrum ID"
