  • Great condo beautiful view

"Nicely updated condo with great view across the street from ocean. Just south of downtown with trolley access, and walking distance to beautiful beaches. Grounds are kept up nicely and the pool is wonderful with gas BBQ grill, and the kitchen is well stocked. Would like a queen or king bed in master, and black-out curtain in guest bedroom to block out the hot morning sun. Property manager is great to work with, made reservations very easy. This is a good choice for 2 couples or family of four."

  • Very convenient location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is very convenient to downtown Kona, and right across the street from a beach. There's a parking, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. We had a great family vacation there. We just hoped that they cleaned the place better. We found the counter top was dusty, the drawers were sandy, and spider webs at the corners of rooms."

  • Great Location / Beautiful Views!

"Our family stayed at HBV #207 for eight days and really enjoyed the villa. It is convienently located: very close to several beaches, within walking distance to the downtown area, and just a few hundred feet from Da Poke Shack, which has some of the best Poke in Kona. We really enjoyed the Villa's wrap around Lanai, starting most days outside having breakfast and ending with an evening cocktail. We were able to view the ocean, a pod of dolphins, the locals surfing, and beautiful sunsets. The Villa is very nicely furnished and the kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated with beautiful stone and tile. It also has a locked entry way, which allows for storage of outdoor toys, and to minimize the sand that gets into the Villa, which is almost impossible in a beach environment. Betsy was very hospitable, prompt with communications, and provided us with some great advice on beaches / restaurants. Our only negative comments were: an odor in the kitchen, which wasn't noticeable after opening the doors and windows, the beading was too soft for our personal tastes, and the lack of laundry detergent. It would have also been nice to have had a cooler for the beach. We would definitely stay here again, if we are lucky enough to come back to Kona. Thanks Betsy for offering such great place to stay!
