  • Quiet Oasis along Ali'i Drive

"Recently spent a week at this property with two teenagers and a three year old and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We explored the island from top to bottom and always looked forward to returning to our home away from home in the afternoons to relax at the beautiful pool. The house was comfortably furnished and family friendly with amazing views, the Master Bedroom had a beautiful view with the sound of waves crashing in the background. The large two-story space allowed for mom and dad to have a little oasis to themselves in the busyness of a family vacation. Beautifully landscaped grounds and nice access to the ocean. Close enough to shopping and amenities but far enough away to feel very peaceful, away from the bustle of downtown Kailua. Would recommend to anyone with a family looking to have a relaxing experience."

  • to summarize my stay : I would say it was as close to prefect as you can get.

"The rooms were perfectly kept, the views and the sunsets are beautiful. I found the location great, shopping, dinning and the beach easy to get to. Ken and Sandra were helpful with all things Big Island.I plan on returning in the near future. Ruth Shiro"

  • Can't beat this spot

"This was my first visit to the lovely Big Island so I had no idea where the best location to stay was and I must say we got really lucky with this place. The location is prime; literally right on the water and close enough to the restaurants and attractions yet not so close that you get all of the noise & foot traffic that comes along with being near the entertainment. It's important to understand that this house is older and has history as it has been in the owner's family since the 60s so you must respect the things that come with older places. Still, it has great character, plenty of parking, towels, silverware, snorkel gear, and just about everything you need to enjoy your time in beautiful Kona. Tim was great to work with and the house was in expected shape upon entrance. So while this isn't the Four Seasons, if you want a quiet getaway where all you can hear are the crashing waves as you sit and watch the cruise ships disembark for the night, you've found your spot. I will be remembering this place for future visits to Kona as we really appreciated our stay."
