  • great Hawaii experience

"We brought 2 couples with us to Hawaii for a birthday celebration and stayed in this welcoming residence for a week. Found the house to be very nicely appointed, clean, and well designed for 6 people to enjoy both dinners at home and relaxing mornings. Lots of comfortable chairs, and places to sit and relax over cocktails or coffee. I would highly recommend the house for a vacation getaway."

  • What a vacation getaway!

"We stayed here from 7/19/16 through 7/26/16. Incredible setting with breathtaking views of Lyman's Bay! Snorkeled everyday with turtles right in front of the house and around the corner. Must be ocean familiar getting in and out. Pay attention to the tides. We live in Santa Cruz and are totally at home in the water. The outdoor kitchen was a real treat. What a setting to cook meals everyday with a million dollar view. Sunsets were unreal. Close to town but you felt by yourself when at the Little Piece of Heaven (perfect name). My family and I completely enjoyed the accommodations and will come back. The Property Manager; Kim, Owner; Ali and Handyman; Jose were all excellent and attentive. Ali, Thank you for creating this Little Piece of Heaven and sharing it with us!"

  • Can't beat this spot

"This was my first visit to the lovely Big Island so I had no idea where the best location to stay was and I must say we got really lucky with this place. The location is prime; literally right on the water and close enough to the restaurants and attractions yet not so close that you get all of the noise & foot traffic that comes along with being near the entertainment. It's important to understand that this house is older and has history as it has been in the owner's family since the 60s so you must respect the things that come with older places. Still, it has great character, plenty of parking, towels, silverware, snorkel gear, and just about everything you need to enjoy your time in beautiful Kona. Tim was great to work with and the house was in expected shape upon entrance. So while this isn't the Four Seasons, if you want a quiet getaway where all you can hear are the crashing waves as you sit and watch the cruise ships disembark for the night, you've found your spot. I will be remembering this place for future visits to Kona as we really appreciated our stay."
