  • Paradise!

"Aloha!!!! Hawaii would be paradise regardless of where we stayed, but this condo was icing on the cake. It is perfectly situated, oceanfront with a huge lanai to take in the waves, dolphins, surfers, turtles and amazing sunsets. We have been to Kona several times and never disappointed, but this unit was exceptional. It was beautifully decorated, clean and very well equipped. Seriously, all you need is a toothbrush! Holly is so professional and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints - except that we had to leave. But we shall return!!"

  • Morning coffee and surfers

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very well maintained unit and well stocked. I do not think we could have been any closer to the water and surfer entertainment from daylight to sundown. I was concerned about the noise from the small park next to our unit but it was not an issue. The complex is on a busy road and you do hear that in the back bedroom. We did have to call maintenance and they were there in a very short time and helpful. If renting make sure they have both window coverings in the living room because it is very bright and hot in the afternoon. Hope we have a chance to rent this unit again."

  • Amazing Location!

"We loved the location of this condo. Right on the ocean. We came in January and saw so much wildlife right from the lanai! A massive school of dolphins, whales breaching on the horizon (wish I would have remembered to bring binoculars!) and sea turtles on the beach and tide pools beneath us. We were fortunate enough to watch a surfing competition right below us from the vantage point of the lanai. Even though the unit has a pool and hot tub, we never even used them. We preferred to go in the surf. The tide pool right beside the condo was CHOCKFUL of sea urchins so it is highly recommended to wear water shoes for protection. We found the two air conditioning units were not adequate to cool the place at night, so we opted for opening the windows and allowing the ocean breeze to work its magic. There were plenty of local restaurants nearby to choose from and many of them had very reasonable prices. We made use of the kitchen every day and found it to contain an adequate amount of utensils, appliances, and cookware. For the bedrooms on the street-side of the condo, some of the street noise early in the morning disturbed out rest (garbage trucks and noisy neighbors across the street) but not every night. One recommendation is to have more detailed instructions on how to work the air conditioners, the remotes for the ceiling fans, and turning on the wifi. Overall, It was a great place to stay and I would recommend this particular unit to anyone wanting to enjoy Kona!"

  • Perfect location! LOVED the sites, sounds and view

"Property was "as advertised and more". Had all the amenities of home with an awesome view. Very clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. We had breakfast at Huggo's and enjoyed it very much. Also took a Fair Wind afternoon snorkel cruise to Kealakekua Bay. Enjoyed viewing turtles, whales and dolphins right from the lanai as well as surfers, sunsets, a wedding and even a Musical Christmas mass on Christmas Eve."
