  • Very Nice Condo in a Very Nice Location

"When we booked this condo on VRBO we didn't know it was a time-share condo. I was a little leery when we got there and checked in (haven't had good interactions with "time share" people. They weren't pushy at all. They had free breakfast and activities where you could talk to someone about "buying in" but we didn't go to any of them. The condo was very clean and looked new. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very nice. The furniture in the living room (couch and chairs) were so firm it was almost more comfortable to sit on the floor. That would be our only complaint. It had the bare minimum for cooking, dishes and utensils, just the basics nothing extra. Like I said, it looked brand new so it didn't have the lived in look. They had a shed at the front with equipment in it that you could use and bring back when you were done. There wasn't a whole lot in there but we did get a few beach chairs, a beach umbrella and 1 boogie board. (they don't have snorkeling gear). There was a big deck with a large table and some lounge chairs, outside lights and a fan. The pools were great and the hot tub was actually hot. They had gas grills by the pools that worked very well. We spent one evening grilling and hanging out at the pool (so nice). Each bedroom had a TV and the master had its own bathroom. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. It was very quiet at night, no loud parties or obnoxious people. We would rent here again."

  • Beautiful, well appointed condo and easy to deal with owner

"This condo was perfect for our family of 4, including 2 teenagers. The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful and friendly. The condo is in Kona, near to lots of shops and amenities, but you do need a car. I was initially wary of not having the VRBO guarantee for the booking but I checked out the owner on line and found nothing but good reviews, which I can second. On Hawaii, there aren't alot of beach front properties and you do need to drive or walk to the different beaches. This condo did have a few pools associated with it. It's on the bottom floor of a set of units but we did not hear the people above or around us. Highly recommend."

  • More Than What Was Expected

"My family of four stayed in one of the condos at the Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious and clean and well cared for and comfortable. It is not Beachside. It is on the other side of the street from the coast, but it was quiet and it was easy to get to many different beaches/shoreline access points from this Wyndham complex. A nice walking distance into downtown Kona for a cup of coffee in the morning. The swimming pools were exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was well appointed. It was a lovely place to stay and we would gladly stay here again!!! Lots of easy parking and comfortably close enough to the front door of our specific condo."

  • Clean, quiet and relaxing.

"Our unit was a little dated but very comfortable and well equipped. This resort is within walking distance from town albeit a good long walk and is close to the ocean. This is our second stay at this resort and we would return again."
