  • Our family loved this property

"Our family of six, including my retired parents, stayed one week with Barbara. This was our second time using vrbo, so we don't have much to compare with. However, we have to agree with all the positive reviews. Truly exceeded our expectations. My nine year old asked if we can come back again next year!"

  • Great Condo!

"My son and I spent eight nights at this great condo on a dive/spearfishing trip. The view is excellent, and a joy to spend time early mornings drinking coffee, or nights with a beer. The lanai furniture is very nice, and in fact the entire condo is very well maintained and stocked. It was clean when we arrived, and I felt like I was moving into my own home. No a/c, but the breeze this time of year offered comfortable days and nights. The condo was completely stocked with everything you would need to cook and eat, and everything worked as it should. The owners communication was excellent, and he responded to any question I had quickly. This was my fourth trip to the Big Island, and the third different condo I've used, and I would certainly use it again in the future. Note that it is on the third deck (which improved our view), so if you don't want to climb stairs, consider that."

  • Amazing location steps from best snorkeling beach, surf lessons with beautiful view of the ocean.

"We had a wonderful stay on the 2nd level of this 3 level home. It is beautifully situated, just steps away from the best snorkeling beach on the island with a surf shop just down the road. The home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the open design of the kitchen to the living room with 2 separate patio door access to the Lanai for viewing the ocean and beautiful sunsets. For a large group there was enough room for hanging out without being in each other's space too much . We also appreciated it's location for being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Kona to really be able to unwind and relax. Grocery stores and amenities were close by making it convenient to get supplies and food as needed. The owner, Steve was one of the best parts of renting this accommodation. We really felt welcome and enjoyed chatting when we occasionally ran into each other. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home!"

  • Love that view from cozy, comfortable home away from home

"We really enjoyed our stay at your place in Hawaii. I don't know if it's helpful to list all the things that we liked about your place. We loved the view out the back, found the doors shielded the noise from the surf quite well when shut, but we preferred them open whenever we were awake and at home. The bikes worked great for short errands. The dishes and pans covered all our needs, we ate breakfast at home every day, but ate out most other meals, except for leftovers. We watched a couple movies on the new TV screen and never watched TV. Clothing storage space was a little tight, but since it was just the two of us, living out of suitcase was fine with a few hangups in the closet. We loved the dining table near the back door for a great view while enjoying a relaxing meal. Equally nice was the sunset view while sitting on the couch. The decor is great too. Being able to walk to the beach next door for some of the best snorkeling that I've had on any tropical island was the best highlight for me. The variety of fish was impressive as were the total number of fish. I usually only see that many fish where this fish are routinely fed. The close to centralized location allowed us to do a number of activities and still have some quality relaxation time hanging out at the home base where it is typically quiet. We were only there for a week, but it felt like home right away. With so many options of activities to choose from, we felt limited by time and money, but really liked the things we choose: Zipline in Hilo, scuba, snorkel, swim w/ manna-rays at night, church at Living Stones on Alii Dr, start gazing tour on Mauna Kea, dinner at Huggos, trips to never enough beaches."
