"Condo was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and well-appointed lanai. Washer/dryer and A/C in unit was so nice to have! We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the TV was great and there were plenty of towels. I didn't give it 5 stars because of three reasons - 1) The bathroom. It doesn't doesn't offer a lot of privacy with the glass blocks (clear glass and they don't go all the way to the ceiling) and no fan so you can hear people doing their business. We remedied this by the one of us not using the bathroom going outside on the lanai so the other'd have privacy. 2) The kitchen is lacking in dishes, silverware and appliances. No toaster, only two sets of utensils, two plates, two bowls, two mugs, etc. 3) I totally understand we were in a tropical location but a cockroach ran across my foot at one point. It was the only one we saw and I'm sure it was the location rather than the condition/cleanliness of the condo. Still a little disconcerting! That being said, we'd probably stay again just because of the view and the amenities that the condo did have. The kitchen and cockroach issues can be addressed, not sure that the bathroom can be fixed though. We still made it work!"

  • This house was amazing

"We fell in love the minute we walked in! There was so much room for our party of 10. The view was amazing from both porches. Each room has its own bathroom and there is also a guest bathroom. The coffee pot went out and with in a couple hours the owner delivered a brand new coffee pot. We will definitely be staying here again. The pool was amazing and clean. The whole house was clean when we arrived the beds were very comfortable."

  • Amazing piece of paradise....

"We had a wonderful time, Maluhia Hale, couldn't have been any better. We were there for 10 days with 6 adults and three children. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the privacy. The pool was amazing and a big hit with everyone. We were able to be at the beaches in 5 minutes and back on the deck to enjoy a barbecue. This was the perfect spot for us, would highly recommend and definitely use this vrbo again. The owner was great to work with. Mahalo."

  • Love that view from cozy, comfortable home away from home

"We really enjoyed our stay at your place in Hawaii. I don't know if it's helpful to list all the things that we liked about your place. We loved the view out the back, found the doors shielded the noise from the surf quite well when shut, but we preferred them open whenever we were awake and at home. The bikes worked great for short errands. The dishes and pans covered all our needs, we ate breakfast at home every day, but ate out most other meals, except for leftovers. We watched a couple movies on the new TV screen and never watched TV. Clothing storage space was a little tight, but since it was just the two of us, living out of suitcase was fine with a few hangups in the closet. We loved the dining table near the back door for a great view while enjoying a relaxing meal. Equally nice was the sunset view while sitting on the couch. The decor is great too. Being able to walk to the beach next door for some of the best snorkeling that I've had on any tropical island was the best highlight for me. The variety of fish was impressive as were the total number of fish. I usually only see that many fish where this fish are routinely fed. The close to centralized location allowed us to do a number of activities and still have some quality relaxation time hanging out at the home base where it is typically quiet. We were only there for a week, but it felt like home right away. With so many options of activities to choose from, we felt limited by time and money, but really liked the things we choose: Zipline in Hilo, scuba, snorkel, swim w/ manna-rays at night, church at Living Stones on Alii Dr, start gazing tour on Mauna Kea, dinner at Huggos, trips to never enough beaches."
