  • The condo was perfect. Clean. Tastefully decorated. Well equipped kitchen.

"The condo was just wonderful. The owners supply everything you need for the beach. All you need is your swim suit. The location was perfect. Close enough to town and northern beaches but far enough out of town to give you peace and quiet. The best part was the constant surf right in front. It drowned out anything you didn't want to hear and was so soothing. The Magic Sands Beach is just a minutes walk. We were able to watch turtles swimming in the surf and some stellar local Boggie Boarders. And in front of the house spinner dolphins were jumping and doing their thing. The owners were very attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. We hope to be able to return to Hawaii some day and we would definitely stay here again. Oh and our kids had a blast in the pool."

  • Great Views and Location

"What a great place to stay! Close to Kona but far enough away to be out of the hustle. We loved our own happy hours from our room overlooking the ocean and sunsets every evening. Stuff I loved about this condo that people don't talk about but it's important to me. 1. Great Freezer! Sounds funny but we've had to always buy ice because freezer can't keep up with us. This freezer keeps up for all your ice needs whether it's happy hours or for the ice chest that is supplied. 2. Having two fans kept the ocean breeze flowing thru the hole place and dried off any clothes that are wet. Loved the air conditioner and only use it every once in a while, but when you needed it, it was very efficient. 3. Love the combo door lock! No more having your hands full beach gear or groceries and trying to fumble thru your clothes or purse looking for the keys. 4. Internet!! We run a small business and have to do business on vacations and we can't afford to have a spotty internet. The internet was reliable and we never had a problem with it!!! We were able to fun our business with no problems. 5. Very quiet. Even though the road is on the back side of the units, you never hear the cars unless you are in the bathroom. Otherwise you are in your own paradise. You will not be disappointed if you decide to book this condo. Very cozy and everyone around this small complex is really nice. Don't stay in a hotel that is overpriced and noisy with people running up and down the hallway all times of the night or you can hear your neighbors. This place was our first HomeAway we had booked and we are so glad we did. We will never stay in a hotel again."

  • Wonderful and Complete Oceanfront Unit

"Really enjoyed our first stay here. A very well-thoughtout unit, comfy supportive bed and nicely equipped kitchen (rice cooker, blender, toaster, good supply of pots, pans, various kitchen tools). Ever crawl around behind hotel furniture looking for a charging outlet for your devices? Not here. He has a nice simple setup on the counter for charging multiple devices. Storage box on lanai has everything you need for the beach: chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie board, small insulated cooler, and all in good shape. There were beach towels in addition to regular towels. Keep the kitchen counters clean and food bits off the floor and you wont have ant or bug problems, and thats true of any condo we've stayed at in Hawaii. This is a well-cared-for place that shows a lot of effort by the owner to make it clean and complete for their guests. Also, the staff at Sunquest Vacations were helpful and great to work with. Thank you! We'll be back!"

  • All the necessary amenities for a week in Hawaii

"Located about 3.5 miles from downtown Kailua, this VRBO was clean and quiet, except for the ocean swell crashing against the shore outside the window. When the light is right you can see bright yellow tangs and other reef fish swimming under those waves. The best thing about this VRBO is that the room was loaded with snorkeling gear, a boogie board, beach chairs, towels and an umbrella, and all the cookware you need to prepare a meal. Very impressive. The bed was comfy. The shower worked well. We gave few complaints. There are a couple of things that could be improved. We did not receive our final instructions by email until after we called to find out why we hadn't received them. Apparently they had a computer issue, but sent the instructions soon after we contacted the rental company. Also, the TV was funky. We didn't actually watch much TV after all run vacation in Hawaii. But, at the very end of the trip and we are pretty wiped out from a day of snorkeling and swimming, we attempted to relax with the TV on and it took about a half an hour to figure out how to access the channels. Perhaps that reflects my electronic ineptitude. Otherwise, very nice place. I would come back."
