  • Very nice property, walking distance to "downtown" Kono, shops, resturants and more.

"The property was as listed. Marty and Paulette were a dream to work with. We made a reservation for a time after a cruise around Hawaii. The cruise was canceled. They let us rebook so we were able to do the cruise after rebooking that, then stay in Kona. The change of dates went like clockwork. Very nicely furnished, next to beach and ocean. Beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to "downtown" Kona for dinning and shops. Close to airport and sightseeing around the island. We used this property for a nine day stay as home base to explore the Big Island. Work out great."

  • We were very satisfied with our stay at Kona Reef F13.

"The unit we rented for our vacation met our expectations. It was very clean, attractive, and well furnished. There was a nice view of the pool area and the ocean. Check-in was easy with the on-site management office. The public areas and grounds were well maintained and attractive, with a nice pool and hot tub, grills, and a sun deck area. The property is located within walking distance of downtown Kailua-Kona, with a nice selection of shops, restaurants, a farmers market, and other tourist services. We felt that the unit was accurately represented in the listing and that the owners were good communicators."

  • Awesome stay

"Great owners. Awesome corner unit. Our group was 5 adults. Queen bed in master, Double bed in 2nd bedroom, Sleeper sofa in living area. Double bed in 2nd bedroom was a tight fit for two daughters in their 20's. If you have a solo adult or two young children that double bed is okay. Recommend owner put a queen or two single beds in 2nd bedroom. Again awesome owners. Absolutely recommend. My thoughts: unit for 4 adults or two adults and 4 small kids? Get groceries at Costco on way to unit if you have a membership. Huggo's on the rocks was our favorite restaurant. Huggo's is just a couple hundred meters from condo towards town on the water. See Mt kilouea at sunset. Night Manta Ray Dive with Big Island Divers. Jet ski rental visible from Deck of Condo: Big Island Water Sports. Best snorkel: two steps at Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park"

  • Wonderful Stay

"We had such a wonderful stay in Jan's condo. It was all we expected and so much more. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy the island! I truly felt at home in her condo and treated it like it was my own. We cooked most evenings and always had everything we needed. Previous guests had left some spices and seasonings and even a bottle of almost full olive oil. We didn't shop the day we arrived so we were able to inventory what we might need. It was awesome. We paid it forward and left some spices and popcorn that we had left for the next guest, in addition to some rum! The view! All I can say is AMAZING! We sat and watched the surfers for hours every morning and evening. This was why I rented this condo and it didn't dissapoint! The complex is very clean and everyone we encountered was very nice. It was fun bbqing in the evening and chatting with the other guests and residents. It was also a very quiet complex which we really enjoyed. Kona Reef is walking distance to the shops and eateries and running along Alli Drive was great. I was able to run for miles along the ocean. Oh and great tips in the snorkel book Jan left in the condo. Make sure you check it out! We found some great beaches and snorkel sites out of this book."
