  • This was a wonderful home to stay at while on the Big Island!

"Great location! Great views! Wonderful pool for the kids to swim! The kitchen could use some updating, but overall it was a great experience!"

  • Great Place to Stay, Near Everything

"We stayed at Stephanie's place for 11 days and it was perfect. The place was very clean and cozy and was so close to the town of Kona, we walked everywhere unless it was a sightseeing day outside of Kona. Everything was easy to get to from the condo with our rental car. There is a Safeway just up the road to get groceries at. The condo has plenty of places to park. It does only sleeps 2 people but it was just my husband and I. Stephanie was always available to answer any questions. We had a few very minor issues when we arrived and Stephanie had someone out there to the condo with in 2 hours of our phone call. All was fixed up and perfect. The condo is nice and quite. It has BBQ down by the pool if you want to cook out and you can hear and see the ocean from the pool or hot tub. You can hear the waves crashing at night with the lani doors open and watch them all day long on the lani. It was great getting up in the morning with a cup of Kona coffee and watching the waves. There is a little sandy beach just a 2 minute walk down the way past the pool. So we had our own little private beach or solitude in the condo. In the morning we could watch the boats that take tourists out to see the dolphins and we could see the dolphins jumping out of the water. It was amazing. I would highly suggest bringing some binoculars so you can see better. If you can, do the dolphin and snorkeling tour, it's well worth it. We took the Ocean Adventures, and the guides were great and the price was reasonable. The water was so clear and blue it was amazing. You could see the yellow tang (yellow triangle fish) as the waves swelled to a crest. We even saw a sea turtle right out our back door. We loved being able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping in Kona. We went in almost everyday and it was a very easy walk in flip flops. There is a short cut to town off the busy road if you walk past the house and the Royal Kona hotel to get to the little town. Stop and have a drink at the Royal Kona hotel bar and watch the sunset while having a mai tai. We loved having breakfast at Bongo Bens which is one of the first restaurants you will see coming from the condo. We enjoyed eating at Bubba Gumps, they have fantastic food and really fun drinks. We walked the town of Kona I don't know how many times and still were not able to eat at every restaurant they had there. We would defiantly recommend the condo and will be coming back to stay."

  • Perfect location - no reason to book elsewhere

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Knowing how overwhelming a housing choice is on the Big Island - if you are a couple and would like full ocean front views in a clean, modern condo - close to town but with only the sights and sounds of the ocean every morning - stop looking and book this place. From discussions with the owner to contacts by the management company everything when smoothly. 10 minute walk to town w/o the hassle of parking - 10 minute drive to White Sands Beach - pool and beachfront lounge chairs for every night sunsets - This is truly a gem for the price."

  • We were very satisfied with our stay at Kona Reef F13.

"The unit we rented for our vacation met our expectations. It was very clean, attractive, and well furnished. There was a nice view of the pool area and the ocean. Check-in was easy with the on-site management office. The public areas and grounds were well maintained and attractive, with a nice pool and hot tub, grills, and a sun deck area. The property is located within walking distance of downtown Kailua-Kona, with a nice selection of shops, restaurants, a farmers market, and other tourist services. We felt that the unit was accurately represented in the listing and that the owners were good communicators."
