  • Perfect spot overlooking a perfect sunset!

"This had to be one of the best choices I have made when visiting the Hawaiian islands! I could stay here for a month or more. The view was incredible every single day I woke up and went to bed. I rented this condo from Debi when I couldn't find a hotel on Kona that wasn't going to charge an arm and a leg to stay in. Turns out staying at Debi's place IS where you will want to stay! My buddy and I went to Hawai'i to celebrate his turning 50 and to do a symbolic "sacrifice-of-youth" to the Great Volcanoes of The Big Island. We did a lot of driving around and it was great to come back to a home as opposed to a hotel. We BBQ'd a couple times by the pool and made our own dinners and breakfasts in the well supplied kitchen. The sofa served well enough as a second bed, but Debi had an extra blow-up bed available to use. Looking out over the Pacific Ocean each day from the lanai was a real treat, and a comparable view in a hotel would have been $50-$100 additional! Low key place. Very Relaxing! The pool was perfect! And seeing sea turtles surfing up on the rocks in front of the complex was a spectacular sight to see! Debi, I will defiantly be contacting you again next year when I make my way back to Hawai'i! Thank you for being so easy to communicate with and making this trip effortless! Mahalo! - Roger"

  • Beautiful Condo ... Right on the Beach

"This delightful condo has a beach front location, on the 2nd floor, with superb ocean views and stunning sunsets. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful regarding all aspects of the rental process. The best rating/recommendation is the fact that we've already booked our stay for next year!"

  • Perfect! In EVERY Way

"We were a party of 2 couples, and this place was perfect (it'd be great for parents with 1 or 2 youngsters too). Everybody gets the best view! All the time! Even from bed! Even when you make dinner and do the dishes! The master bedroom is huge, with it's own bath. The guest room has a bath just across the hall. Best of all, this is THE corner you want-- All the units at this resort have a good view-- but THIS corner has TWO FANTASTIC VIEWS-- it faces the sea AND the lovely sandy beach next door. It's on the 3rd floor so you're above all the action, but totally close enough to enjoy it. When you dream of "tropical paradise" it's the view right here that's in your mind. It's private with a stunning view out every window. The apartment itself has just been remodeled. Gorgeous cabinets, countertops, floors. The kitchen has all the equipment you need (and top-end appliances). I think my favorite spot is the lanai where a generous dining set is the perfect spot to just relax, read, or have a glass of wine as the sun sets. We'd wander to the pool (it's gorgeous w/ loungers, umbrellas, jacuzzi, BBQ and the ocean right there!), or stroll to Don's Mai-Tai Bar or Lava Java or Huggos-- everything is close by. Bodyboarders and canoes and parasails and even jumping dolphins and whales are your entertainment-- plus wonderful sunsets from the lanai or the pool.... We will be back!"

  • Convenient location to shops, restaurants, activities

"This Kona Reef condo was easy to find, with ample parking and a great location in proximity to Kona village area. Made for a short walk (1/2 mile easy walk) to center of shops, restaurants, etc. The condo building is large, and well kept overall. We appreciated the clean unit, and amenities. It had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts, and snacks. Great ocean and pool view from the Lani. The bathroom was attractive with a large walk in tiled shower. We spent one week here, and were off visiting the Island landmarks, volcanoes, fishing, and beaching, so we were usually only in the condo at night and in the morning. We did not use the pool but it appeared clean and inviting. The location while greatly convenient, is right on the main road and very noisy. If you keep the bedroom window open at night, you may need ear plugs. The unit is a corner unit and when the windows were all open fully, you might get a breeze, but it was still very warm inside. We found it necessary to run the bedroom ceiling fan on high all night. We also, on a personal level found the bed, pillows and the sofa, VERY hard. You also may need to buy TP as there was only a limited amount to use. Otherwise it was a nice unit."
