"My wife and I just returned from Kona March 4, 2017 , after staying nine days.
Here is the skinny, on Condo C-2, at Kona Reef Condo's!
Yes, there is a rock wall in front of the patio, but it gives you the privacy you want, and you can still take killer pictures from the wall, see the pool, and see if the four BBQ's are all being used or not, without having to walk all the way to them!! (I tried to download the pictures I had taken from the wall, but this app won't allow me to post them). If you want to see the WHOLE beach, it is just 23 steps out the door!!!! If you are BBQing, the little woman can hand you anything you need from the patio, without having to walk all the way back to the room!!!
The TV went out, and the next day, Mia went out and bought a $1000 dollar Samsung big screen, and a beautiful picture , for the bedroom wall.
As for the mattress, I did mention to Mia that it was a bit uncomfortable, and she said she was going to go to Costco, and get a foam memory pad for it. I also suggested a couple shelves in the bathroom for toiletries, and a wooden bath mat for the shower, and she said she would look into it for future guest.
I read the reviews, and all I can say is Mia was very good to my wife and I, and all she wanted to do is make us comfortable, and happy. ( I met her in person, when she brought the TV , and picture of the Hawaiian Sunset, and all I know is......she is truely a good person). If anyone had a complaint, then they did not send her an email with their concerns, because I am sure she would of addressed the situation immediately!
Its a ground level Condo, close to town, quiet, (mostly retirees), and the thing I loved the most is its not a big condo like the Marriot, or Hilton, but smaller, like a horse-shoe, and very cozy, and secluded, with a guard at night. The people that come here, come every year. (I met people that had been coming here the same time every year, for over 28 years!!!). You cannot beat the price anywhere!
Cannot wait until next year!! The only thing I will do different, is stay for three weeks, instead of nine days!!"
