  • It was all we hoped to experience.

"The description of this home was spot on. The décor was delightful; the beds were comfortable; it was clean. The stroll down to the ocean was a real plus. The kitchen was complete and the Weber grill was available. The pool was the best! Not much of a breeze through the house which was an issue in that heat. We arrived between hurricanes and the owner responded quickly to my questions and concerns about how to care for the house during a hurricane. I was even told there was a local person I could call if there was an emergency. The hurricanes passed to the north and south and this house is in the lee of the island, so no issues at all. Besides, they were right, it is a well built sturdy home. I can see why they love it. I would stay there again. On a "needs improvement" note: the owner has reassured us they will put house numbers on the house in the driveway. And, trash really needs to go out Sunday evening as that pick up is way early on Monday morning."

  • Beautiful view and waves, waves, waves describes it perfectly!

"A great place to be. Sat on the Lanai and watched the waves and boats early morning. Saw lots of Canoes, fishing boats and the cruise ships. We kept pretty busy so mostly we enjoyed the mornings. This Island even though it's the "Big Island" we could get anywhere in a couple of hours. Didn't even turn on the TV until the last night, mostly sat and listened to the waves. Quiet area, hardly saw the other guests, beautiful sunsets. Just as advertised. The one small problem we had Kathie got it taken care of right away. Don't forget to check out all the stuff in the closet. We didn't realize the binoculars were there until the last day(they were in plain site on the shelf) beach chairs, coolers etc. Would go back over and over, not sure I can get my Husband that far from home again but he also loved it. We did the Helicopter tour fire and falls out of Hilo, the Volcano night time tour, zip lining at Akaka Falls, snorkeling at a few different beaches and just driving and stopping when we wanted. Saw the painted church, the national parks, black sand beach, sea turtles etc. On our last day we went to the Chocolate farm (Original Hawaii Chocolate factory) it was really interesting and very informative. My Grandson is fascinated with the pictures of the pods growing right on the trunk and limbs of the tree. Just driving around you see beautiful vistas, so glad we went."

  • Fantastic family experience in Kona

"My family of five had an amazing time in Kona. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. We cooked in most days - usually on the grill - and at outside or on the lanai. It was quite hot while we were there in August. The trade winds were not blowing until our last day. Still, we were quite comfortable with the ceiling fans and box fans. We toured the island, but almost every day, made it back to Magic Stands beach. The boogie boarding was consistently great. (The undertow is strong, so it's not ideal for small children.) I loved that everything we needed for the beach was provided - beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, towels. Kathy and Steve were a joy to coordinate with. They answered my many questions in advance and even a couple while we were there."

  • CAN"T BE BEAT!

"I have stayed at other condos in Sea Village but for the last three years I have returned to Danielle's condo. The reasons are simple. The unit is tastefully decorated and everything you will need is there. The kitchen has all the essentials. There are ample towels and linens. All the beach gear you are likely to need is provided. Also, everything works without any problems. The unit is away from the street so it is quiet. There is no better view from the lanai in Sea Village. This is not something you can say about some other units. It is about a one mile walk to Kona. My family loves staying here. Danielle is very helpful and pleasant. She is much nicer to talk to than interacting with a rental agency. I will definitely stay here again."
