  • Beautfil condo, wonderful stay

"We stayed 11 days at the condo, with our son and daughter-in-law from Juneau, Alaska. The place met all our expectations, and more. The owners have paid meticulous attention to details that made the place a delight to be in. We have stayed four times at different units at Alii Villas; we love the convenient location, and the care and beauty of the complex. This was the best, very tasteful, the classiest! Pam and Dave Towry are very friendly and cordial and efficient, good communicators. Mahalo, David and Pam, for a great stay in Hawaii!"

  • Amazing location steps from best snorkeling beach, surf lessons with beautiful view of the ocean.

"We had a wonderful stay on the 2nd level of this 3 level home. It is beautifully situated, just steps away from the best snorkeling beach on the island with a surf shop just down the road. The home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the open design of the kitchen to the living room with 2 separate patio door access to the Lanai for viewing the ocean and beautiful sunsets. For a large group there was enough room for hanging out without being in each other's space too much . We also appreciated it's location for being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Kona to really be able to unwind and relax. Grocery stores and amenities were close by making it convenient to get supplies and food as needed. The owner, Steve was one of the best parts of renting this accommodation. We really felt welcome and enjoyed chatting when we occasionally ran into each other. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home!"

  • We loved it and would stay there again.

"Carol's condo was perfect for us (two senior and one tween). We especially loved the lanai and watching birds. The condo was well maintained and clean. The location was great for boogie boarding (across the street) and snorkeling (one mile away). We would stay there again if we get the chance."

  • Just as described! Wheelchair Friendly.

"We searched many sites for a condo in the main walking area of town, with a pool, elevators, and workable with a wheelchair... and chose this unit. You will find that there are very few locations that can fill all three of these. We were familiar with the location of the building from an earlier vacation to Kona, but had not been past the storefronts on the first floor. 503 is just as pictured and described, and has all the little extras you may need for time at the beach, including coolers and folding chairs. It also has a first rate view out the front when you are home. Turtles, dolphins, dug-out's, and iron man swimmers could be seen all day long from the living room sofa. The covered parking is a great extra. My wife is in a wheelchair; and this unit has a queen bed, which allows for more clearance for walkers and wheel chairs in the bedroom - and Lisa has a tub/shower chair available for use. We brought our own suction grip grab bars just to be sure. With an assistant, the entire property worked well...we could get the wheelchair around, the halls, the elevator, pool, sidewalks, and out into the town with no issues. Without an assistant, my wife did well in the unit, halls, elevator, and pool; but had issues working with the main lobby doors the elevator. The height of the lock, in combination with the strength of the door closers ended up repeatedly trapping her until someone else came down the elevator or entered the lobby. This is not likely to be an issue for most people, but when I was scuba diving, this ended up limiting her ability to get to the pool as frequently as she would have liked. Overall - wheelchair or not - this is a great property."
