  • Bright, Large, Centrally Located Condo in downtown Kona.

"This one bedroom condo is in the perfect location allowing you to walk virtually to any restaurant, grocery store, or other shopping in downtown Kona. It is very large and well laid out. Kitchen cabinets and countertops have been updated as well as the bathroom countertops. Lots of towels for use as well as a washer and dryer. Basic King size bed that was comfortable enough, one complaint the sheets did not fit the bed well and would slide up, also the bedroom wall and window above the bed backs onto the walkway to each of the suites so found it could be noisy if people did not keep their voices down, as well early in the morning the large delivery trucks or garbage trucks were quite loud. We live in the country with no street lights or noise so this was probably more noticeable to us. The living room is very big, we had to move the couch into the centre of the room to watch anything on the 32 inch tv. Internet was available and easy to connect to. The living room opens onto a large balcony with full length doors that can be slid out of the way making the balcony seem like part of the living room. This was a very nice feature. Balcony overlooks the pool and and partial views of the ocean. There is no air-conditioning but we found the suite was comfortable without as there were lots of fans. Also appreciated having boogie boards, snorkel gear, umbrella and beach chairs available to use. Would have liked to see more information about garbage disposal and recycling available in the suite as we recycle everything in our city in BC Canada. Additional amenities that would be nice to have would be a blow dryer available for use. Overall we would recommend this property as it was clean, centrally located with a variety of amenities available and included covered parking. Good overall value depending on your currency agains the US dollar."

  • The Perfect place for a Big Island vacation!

"Centrally located in a nice neighborhood of Kona. The bed was super comfortable, and had everything i needed to make breakfast every morning. Owner was super nice, as well as some great ideas of what to do at the best times. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!"

  • Beautiful Villa, Great Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Hualalai in Villa 210A. Plenty of space. Attractively furnished. Nice views from the upper lanai. We hit a couple of small problems (e.g. broken toaster) and the management company was pleasant to deal with and quick to respond. Compared to other VRBO's we've rented, the kitchen was particularly nicely equipped. Lots of pots, pans, knives, etc and all of high quality. One of the reasons we prefer VRBO's is to have a kitchen, and it was great to have one that was especially well supplied."

  • Location on the Ocean is Fantastic

"This home is beautiful. The pool and patio are perfect. We had all our dinners outdoors watching the sunset on the ocean. Loved lighting the gas tiki torches every night. House was so well stocked that we entertained friends and family by having a dinner party of 16 one night. The snorkeling in the cove is the best. Spotted so many colorful fish, turtles, eel and an octopus. Close to shopping and restaurants. All 4 bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for 4 couples. The manager is very attentive and satisfied all our needs. The only complaint is on the weekends the rec park behind the house is very active with sporting events using announcers and playing music over loud speakers. If you are located ocean side it's fine but we had to shut up the windows and doors on the rec park side of the house to block out the noise. I suggest you plan on exploring the island on those days. Hilo and Waimea are great day trip destinations."
