  • Perfect island getaway

"Jim and Claudia were wonderful to work with. They made booking easy. They made the arrival easy and the made the departure easy (as much as I didn't want to leave!). Their condo is lovely and was guest ready - comfortable bed, everything easily found, and exactly as it is listed. Lovely balcony with table & chairs allowed for lazy morning coffees while listening to the day dawn. That early in the day you can both hear and see the waves as they gently crash on the shore. It was so peaceful! The kitchen is well stocked with all you need - from coffee maker to toaster. Having a mini-cooler and beach chairs really made my beach outings fantastic. I would stay here again and I think that says it all! Best place for a coffee - Kope Lani. Best place for a treat (pastries) - Lava Java. Best shave ice - Oceanview Cafe (same center where Bubba Gump's is). Best poke - Umeke's Fishmarket Bar & Grill. Wonderful splurge meal - Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill. The farmer's market in the Village is amazing - buy your fruit and produce there! Food shopping is made affordable and easy with both a Target and a Walmart. There is a Costco as well. Must see - Volcano National Park! It was amazing! Mahalo Jim and Claudia!"

  • Great Ocean View, Incredible Sunsets

"This second floor condo had every thing we needed for a relaxing vacation on the Big Island. The bed was very comfortable and the sound of the crashing waves lulled us to sleep. The condo is Ocean Front with an unobstructed view from the living room and lanai. Never turned on the A/C - used the ceiling fans, kept the windows open and lowered the lanai shade during the day. Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the man made beach right by the ocean, sitting on the chaise lounges under the coconut palms, then watching the beautiful sunsets with a cocktail every evening. There is a nice BBQ area and picnic tables down there too. The condo manager keeps the grounds immaculate. The complex is very quiet. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time, and the pool was never crowded. A short drive takes you to the Magic Sands Beach, Da Poke Shack - (the best poke ever) and the KTA grocery store that had everything we needed (great recommendation by a local). We enjoyed dining in as well as eating out several times at the restaurants at the other end of Alii Drive just a few miles down the road. Favorites were Huggo's and Jackie Rey's for dinner, and breakfast at Island Lava Java. A great day trip was a stop for lunch at Big Island Brew in Waimea before we toured the Hawaii Vanilla Company. Ann was very nice to work with, and responded quickly. She has thoughtfully provided beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, guide books, and even first aid supplies. If you love looking at the ocean, beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves without a crowd of people around this is the place to be!"

  • Fantastic ocean view from the large lanai.

"A half hour drive from the airport and close to Kona. Lovely place located right on the coast. Clean, convenient and comfortable. The sight and sound of the surf pounding on the rocks is mesmerizing."
