  • Amazing architectural home! World class location!

"We absolutely loved our stay... the home is just incredible. Perfect indoor outdoor living. Location is great outside heat and bustle of Kona, view is EPIC! Pool is beautiful, and outdoor dining is world class. Beautiful architecture, and brilliant floor plan. We slept with the doors open every night and enjoyed the cool mountain air! Can't wait to go back! We really can not say enough good things about this house!"

  • Absolutely wonderful place to stay

"We can't say enough about this place. The accommodations were perfect, clean, bright and cheery, and the beds were very comfortable, the home is very private and the view was breathtaking. After a month we were not ready to leave at all. The location is also perfect, it didn't take long to get into town or to a beach or a golf course. You wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, including some roosters and there are beautiful bright green Geckos everywhere. The kitchen has everything you need, we found that we barbequed almost every night. The owners, Randy and Atsumi are wonderful people and we will definitely be returning."

  • Relaxing and peaceful location, but so close to the action

"This property is part of a well established gated community right next to the sea. While there is no direct beach access there is a lovely beach within a few minutes walk. The property is close to a nice shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona. There is another beach and boat harbour a few minutes drive to the south at Keauhou. A trolley service passes along this section of coast and is a good option if not driving. There is a lovely pool on site and 3 tennis courts. The house is very clean and tidy, and very well equipped. The bedrooms are very spacious. We really appreciated the large fridge and washer/ dryer. Having an upstairs and downstairs bathrooms was great. We would definitely choose this property again if we were visiting Hawaii again."

  • A True Hawaiian family reunion before a loved one passed

"NO. No one died here. This was a place of reunion and solitude for immediate family members for ONE LAST MEMORY..... AND So... Everything was beautiful, practical and more than accommodating - from check in to check out. Richard, my contact and I believe may be the owner, is a humanitarian with an honest business sense that in this day and age, is quite hard to find. Our stay was very sweet, and Hale Lani will FOREVER be in our hearts for the memories made. This is a place that is NOT to be ignored. This needs to be at the TOP of every vacation rental list when pondering places to stay in the magnificent island of Hawai'i, home of the active volcanoes and every other magic that the other Hawaiian Islands provide. Thank you, Richard, and those who helped us find comfort and solace in our stay. From the bottom of our hearts, Me Ke Aloha Pumehana, ame Malama Pono!!! Sweet Aloha from the nine of Us Kahumoku(s): Mervin, Jr., Emmajean Umauma, Kahealani, Keikimakamae, Ali'ilaniloa, Ekolu, Lahela, Keli'i, and Puanani Kahumoku."
