  • Very nice and at water's edge

"The condo is very nicely decorated, and seems to have been recently redone with lovely bamboo floors, tile, granite. Windows open to the lanai right above the crashing waves. When it gets a bit warm in the late afternoon, the pool is wonderful for cooling off, and the soft breezes through the open windows cool everything down. Just far enough away from the most congested part of Ali'i Dr, but still conveniently close. Very clean. Well-stocked kitchen. We liked the fact that the Banyan Tree is small; the few neighbors we met were friendly and low-key."

  • Nice place!

"This condo has a beautiful view from the indoor/outdoor lanai. It's a bit on the older side, but still clean and very affordable. It was a great place to stay for my husband and I. A short drive to town and all of the restaurants. It was really nice to fall asleep to the crashing waves every night. The owners were prompt to get back to me with any questions I had. If you want a great deal on an oceanfront condo, I would definitely recommend."

  • Awesome!!!

"Our stay a Kona White Sands was definitely very special. The condo in which we stayed was well maintained, well stocked and located in a great part of Kailua-Kona. it was located right across the street from the La'aloa State Beach, which has some pretty good snorkeling from the beach as well as good waves for boogie boarding. The condo was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, masks, flippers and noodles. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Big Island as it is located within 5 minutes of the Keahou shopping center that has a grocery store, a dive shop, bar and other amenities. it is also only about 10 minutes to the downtown Kailua-Kona area where there are all sorts of restaurants, bars, dive shops, etc. The directions provided by the property owner were spot on and access to the property was easy. it was an awesome vacation and it was in large part to the VRBO in which we stayed!!!! Thanks to the DeGeorges for allowing us to stay in their property!!!"

  • Beautiful corner unit with incredible view.

"We were there for Ironman and the location was perfect. Within walking distance to town and shopping and restaurants and right on the Ironman course. It's a beautiful unit, very clean and comfortably furnished and lots of windows and natural light, but starting to age a little. No real issues (a few of the vertical blind slats came down frequently and by our last day the air conditioner vent in kitchen started to drip) . Loved the views and having morning coffee on the two decks was amazing! Plenty of tables and seating. Every morning we watched the dolphins swim by and the sunsets were gorgeous! The salt water pool was great and my 2 yr old grandson loved swimming in it by moonlight. It is quite unique. We could also see the cruise ships in port (which was another big plus for my grandson). All in all, we loved it and would definitely stay there again! Thanks Jill for sharing your place with us."
