  • Gorgeous Oceanfront Condo with high end furnishings in an excellent location

"We Loved this condo. It is spacious and well appointed and SO Very close to the ocean it's incredible. It is also equipped with nearly everything you need, in fact I'd suggest checking our the spice cabinet, refrigerator and bathroom cabinets before you buy anything. Former guests had generously left things behind for the next guests use. When we arrived there was beer, sunscreen, tons of spices etc. The condo has 2 large bedrooms, 2 good size bathrooms, a lovely comfortable living room ( with 5 windows that all look out on the ocean). A well equipped kitchen, 2 places to dine ( indoor and out) - it's just a very special place. Oh and it was spotless too! Mahalo Nui Loa Carol - we really enjoyed your stunning home."

  • Good value

"We enjoyed the Casa De Emdeko location and facilities. This is our third stay in the complex. We are giving it 4 stars because of the location and complex amenities. This unit is on the north side of the complex and gets direct sun on the patio in the winter. It was very warm in the afternoons but there are roll down shades that help. There is a step to get to the front door and a step from the walkway to the back patio. The air conditioning worked well and there are ceiling fans in all the rooms. The queen size bed was comfortable. Because it is away from Alii Drive it is relatively quiet. The refrigerator has an automatic ice maker. There is no tub (fine by us) and a nicely tiled shower with a grab bar. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans and utensils. It is easy to cook all meals. There are two TVs but only one remote which only worked on the bedroom TV. The decor is dated. The unit was rather dark (low wattage bulbs and missing bulbs), especially the kitchen. There was no password protected internet access for the unit. When we asked about this the owner said that she was between providers and suggested we use another units unprotected access, not cool. Hawaii has bugs and we had large cockroaches come in under the screen door if we left the front door open. We would recommend this unit with some reservations."

  • Perfect Location With Crashing Waves Beneath Your Condo. Beautiful 1BR Oceanfront Condo!

"The owner (Annie) was very accommodating making our anniversary celebration possible. The service from the property management firm, Knutson (Blake) was outstanding. Download their app and stay connected with all the info you need at your fingertips. They have the most proactive, customer oriented process I have ever experienced. Ask questions, get answers. Need service, get service. Super easy check in and check out. Now for the unit itself. This unit is very well equipped with plenty of utensils, cookware, and even snorkeling equipment. Full size appliances and washer dryer all came in handy. The BBQ area by the pool with ocean views was in great shape with clean top notch equipment, canopy, tiled counter space, and sink area. I loved making new friends and exchanging island tips while grilling. The living room space is adequate size and comfortable with large glass windows and Arcadia door out to the oceanfront balcony. A large outdoor table was our dining room as we watched the waves crashing on the rocks, surfers, parasailing, jet skiers, and cruise ship docking. With temps in the upper 80's, there are a few hours during the day where the a/c makes a world of difference to get refreshed before heading out for more island adventures. Many rentals do not have a/c and trust me, we tried that once thinking it would be ok. Well, its a manageable heat, but we travel to Hawaii to relax and to be comfortable. A/C is a must and this unit has one that actually works. The location is perfect for everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed night walks along the ocean to nearby stores, restaurants, and bars. Then during the day, we took scenic drives around the entire island to various parks and beaches. Our favorite was the Volcano National Park and I highly recommend seeing the Akaka and Akuna Falls. Its absolute paradise with an easy stairway hike through the lush tropical rainforest. If an affordable and comfortable 1 bedroom oceanfront condo is what you are looking for, this is it."

  • This place is amazing. We got the much needed relaxation we needed here.

"My favorite time was enjoying my coffee from the lanai. The view at sunset is absolutely perfect, and we actually got to see the "green flash." We were greeted by Turtles, and dolphins daily, and got to see a whale pod. The location is close to downtown and just a stroll to the beach. We would definitely book here again."
