  • Hawaiian Oasis

"I am writing this review because I believe no matter what ads or pictures say, they say only so much and reviews make a huge difference. With that said, I don't know if I can find the right words to express this amazing Hawaiian oasis. As soon as we drove up it was simply breath taking as good as the photos are it does not do this amazing home justice. There isn't one negative thing to say, the house was very comfortable, spacious. and inviting. Every single room was amazing, not one great room and the rest just alright, each and every room was awesome. The pool and lanai was perfect the sunset and sunrise left you speechless. I seriously could go on and on. In closing this review I have to thank Adam the caretaker, he is awesome what a great person, and there if you need him in a minute with great advice for all kinds of things. It was the best experience I have ever had. I cant say it enough. We will be back for sure. Mahalo"

  • Perfect Place during the Ironman

"We stayed during the Ironman 2015 in this lovely condo. The condo is located very central in kona and it is easy to walk everywhere. It is very good equiped (beach equipment, ...) and there is a nice kitchen in it as well. The communication with the owner was very nice and the condo has a nice sea view. If we go to Kona again we would come here again."

  • Loved Every Minute

"This condo is exactly as pictured and the owner is a joy to work with. There was nothing better than sleeping with the doors open and waking to the crashing waves just outside the balcony. The view from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking; I promise you won't want to leave to explore the island. The condo is on the third floor and while there may have been an elevator, we didn't search for it. The only time I disliked the stairs where packing luggage and groceries up ... But that's my fault for brining so many clothes. The kitchen is very well equipped with spices, cooking, and eating tools. There is even snorkeling gear we borrowed for the beach that was within walking distance. The neighbors were friendly and the condo was extremely private and quiet. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Treat yourself and reserve this place. You won't regret it!!"

  • island paradise

"we greatly enjoyed our stay at Kona Bali Kai resort. Lynn, the owner, was very helpful and his information was bang-on!! Condo was clean and nicely upgraded and the location was perfect..fairly close to the downtown area but just far enough out that you were out of the downtown hustle and bustle and still close enough to take advantage of all Kona had to offer. had surfers put a show on daily right out our lanai, from 6 am to dusk.... Pool, hot tub, and Poke shack restaurant at complex are all great. Lots of sea life all along the coast and so many fish, turtles, and sea life right below our lanai that we were exploring daily right outside our door!! we toured most of the island and can't say enough about the abundance of activities the big island has to offer! we had 3 families in our group with the youngest a five year old, and we went hard for ten days...with everyone included...the island has something for everyone!! we would recommend a car rental for the duration of your stay. be kind to yourself and pick it up at the airport and drop it off there on your way out...keep things're on holidays!! Must see items for us: Volcano park - be kind to yourself and stay overnight if much to see and do here that one day doesn't do it justice. Waipio lookout and black sand beach - tough hike down and much tougher going up, but the black sand beach below is worth the effort. A one of a kind experience again, watch the surfers or just walk the beach..but don't forget your camera!! Hwy 200 between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa - An otherworldly experience in the moonscape between these two peaks. highway is fantastic and the sights are like no other. many options for hikes and pics of different lava types and vegetation here. at the end is city of Hilo and all the culture and activities there. Kohala Coast - with its white sand beaches, this area is great for the families with boogie boarding and body surfing, and all the sun and white sand. picture perfect!! Green Sand beach- very walkable from parking area - about 45 min but bring good footwear and lots of water. also very windy everywhere here so be ready for a lot of sand, etc in face and eyes. beach is one of a kind so a must-do for us. we paid locals to drive us to beach..$100 for 10 of us was worth it. great surf beach but not great for unattended young kids. stop at coffee stop on road back to hwy... read Lynn's newsletter- most valuable!!"
