  • Great place beside the Magic Sands Beach

"We really enjoyed staying here. This place had everything we needed. Beach chairs and umbrella. Steps away from the beach. Parking stall was marked with unit #. Great location, not far from downtown and easy access to the main roads. Loved the view and sounds of the ocean. We saw dolphins one morning about 800 ft off the shore."

  • Definitely recommended!

"We have stayed at the Banyan Tree many times in the past but this was the first time in this unit which has the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. The pictures do not do it justice and like many previous reviews mention the experience is spectacular. You can't get much closer to the waves than this unit. Very comfortable furnishings and everything you need. The owner, Candace, was very responsive to the couple of small items we needed help with and her recommendations for car rental/restaurants/things to explore provided great new experiences for us. Would definitely consider a return or recommend as an option to our friends."

  • Amazing view, nice location and great updates

"We were looking for a place within walking distance of shops and restaurants and this definitely fit the bill. The view is amazing with the waves crashing just outside the lanai. The condo has been nicely updated including both bathrooms which were great. The kitchen has also been updated; it was nice to have a filtered water pitcher in the fridge (another pitcher for making juice would've been nice). The unit is nicely furnished without being over-stuffed with furniture. The art throughout the condo is beautiful, including what I'm assuming are "originals" from kids or grandkids - very cute. The master bedroom is very generously sized and having two TVs was a nice plus. The bath towels were great (not what you normally find in a rental) and we appreciated the shampoo, soaps (personal and for the kitchen), etc.; so nice to travel and not have to worry about those things. I read a lot of reviews that talked about the winds making up for the lack of AC; unfortunately, we didn't have those winds during our stay. With AC this would've been five stars instead of four, but the temp never dropped below 80 during our stay which made for some uncomfortable nights. While I love the waves, I was amazed at how loud it is, which could be an issue for light sleepers, especially if they need the sliders open for the breeze. The bed was a little too firm for us, but others may think it's great. I would suggest replacing the pillows though, they all seemed pretty flat. Overall, a very nice unit, great location (covered parking was really nice), light and bright and well furnished."

  • Kona Sugar Shack, wonderful experience!

"John and Jae were so friendly and helpful. The house is awesome, separate suites for our large group but a big central kitchen and lanai with a table big enough for our group of 15 to have a great Thanksgiving dinner enjoying a perfect sunset reflected in the ocean. The location is perfect, close to shopping and restaurants but not in a tourist hub. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a great dinner, play or relax by the pool."
