  • Clean, Good Price, Good Location

"It was centrally located and well maintained. It is clean, modern and has all of the amenities you need. This includes a closet stocked full of boogie boards, beach towels, chairs and a cooler. The washer and dryer allowed us to be able to only pack carry-on luggage so that was an added bonus. Our only slight criticisms would be the shower switched between hot and cool and the kitchen does not have any cooking oil or basic condiments, so make sure you stock up on whatever you need at the grocery store before hand. The view from the balcony is onto the busy Ali'i Drive, but the pool and hot tub across the street are easy to access, as is the BBQ/picnic area on the beach. Go across the street if you can and hang out there, it is lovely. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Mahalo!"

  • The Best Yet!!!

"My family and I have had many trips to the Islands over the years, and this condo exceeded any that we have stayed in! The location was perfect--situated on gorgeous lava framed waterfront with unobstructed views of the bay. We watched a couple whales spout and dive our first morning there and could see the cruise ships arrive and depart (only a couple days, but a good time to avoid downtown Kona!) The unit was well equipped and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed our Kona coffee and papayas on the expansive lanai each morning to the sounds of tropical birds and crashing waves. We had the best shaved ice on the Islands nearly every day at Aloha One (using pureed tropical fruits as their syrup and macadamia nut or coconut ice cream in the center). We took side trips to Havi, a darling town at the north end of the Island, and an overnight trip to Volcano House situated on the rim of Kilauea, which was quite active during our visit. It's amazing to see molten lava up close and personal!! The hikes along the rim, complete with steam vents (which were very welcome on the day we visited) and to the lava tube were easy. The snorkeling at Kahaluu Beach Park is the best I have ever experienced in all my travels (get there by 9 a.m. before the bulk of the tourists arrive and you'll get to swim with turtles!). Very nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Don't miss GypSea Gelato, just a short drive from the condo (yes, we like our desserts!!) This will be a vacation you will not forget, and a condo that will rank among your top!!"

  • Great condo

"Ann, we arrived yesterday and love your place, very well equipped clean and comfortable. It reminds me of our unit #322 that we use to own here. We will return next year. Cheers - Tony"

  • It was our home away from home

"We had a 17 night stay recently and were happy from the time we walked in. The condo was very homey and comfortable. Everything we needed was there and then some. Fully equipped kitchen with a much needed blender, ice maker, coffee pot, kettle...list goes on. The rooms were spacious and the master bedroom has two lanai doors giving a nice breeze into the bedroom to make for a comfortable temperature. We enjoyed many meals on the huge lanai and enjoyed having some drinks as we watched the golfers on the 17th green and the 18th tee box on the golf course. The ocean is a ways away but the views are amazing and the sunsets were stunning every night. The condo is fully stocked with all the water and beach stuff you need, plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear and coolers. Everything about this condo was convenient, it is located 2 minutes away from a shopping center that has grocery store, drug store, restaurants and even a movie theater if that`s what you`re up for. Another bonus was having our own bbq to use on our lanai. We have stayed at other condo complexes and they had `community ``bbq`s`` for the complex to use, making it very impersonal and inconvenient. We will definitely consider this condo again when we return to the Island."
