  • Great Condo

"We stayed for 8 nights in the condo and didn't want to leave. The lanai and views were to die for. The waves crashing ashore was a delight to sleep to. We watched turtles, surfers and the sunset most evenings. The condo was well appointed and spotlessly clean with everything you need for a wonderful stay. We didn't cook much but the kitchen seemed to have all the amenities. The bed was very comfortable and linens and towels were top quality. The pictures and description of the condo are spot on. Kona Bali Kai complex is located close to town and a very short drive to everything. I wouldn't say it was within walking distance to town but if you're adventurous enough it could be. Ali'i Drive can get busy and there are no sidewalks. The pool and pool deck needed some updating but there were signs posted stating construction was to begin soon. Da Poke Shack at KBK was a favorite along with Huggo's in town. Both had fantastic food. We didn't have any issues with our stay and hope to return someday. Just be aware the condo has no air conditioner and Kona can get very warm especially when the sun is setting. Lots of fans, the ocean breeze and a cold beverage helped plus it did cool down at night. Holly was a joy and extremely easy to work with. The process was flawless."

  • Relaxing and peaceful location, but so close to the action

"This property is part of a well established gated community right next to the sea. While there is no direct beach access there is a lovely beach within a few minutes walk. The property is close to a nice shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona. There is another beach and boat harbour a few minutes drive to the south at Keauhou. A trolley service passes along this section of coast and is a good option if not driving. There is a lovely pool on site and 3 tennis courts. The house is very clean and tidy, and very well equipped. The bedrooms are very spacious. We really appreciated the large fridge and washer/ dryer. Having an upstairs and downstairs bathrooms was great. We would definitely choose this property again if we were visiting Hawaii again."

  • A piece of paradise - all to ourselves!

"From the moment we walked through the door we knew this was a special place. A stunning pool, garden and ocean view greeted us outside - and an incredible airy light filled living and dining room with incredible Lanai in front of us. We almost forgot to move from the front door! We were travelling with our 3 teenagers (2 13 year olds and a 16 year old) and had just come from Waikiki. This peaceful and lush setting was just what we needed. The property had everything we needed for venturing out or staying on sight. We felt at home very quickly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and the space was wonderful. Even with a full kitchen we tended to use only the fridge and enjoyed grilling on the barbeque and eating our meals on the Lanai. All 5 of us truly enjoyed this home. It is well located in terms of access to grocery stores/ restaurants and Kona proper and for day trips to any of the sights. And wait until you get that first sunset.... We will gladly return the next time we head to the big Island and strongly recommend this location."

  • Perfect setting for family vacation

"Our Kona condo had everything we needed to serve as our base to the beautiful island of Hawaii. With adult children and grand children our vacation flowed from the ocean pool, the beaches, to the volcano. We often ended the day by the ocean pool sharing the sunset and sharing our adventures."
