  • South Kona Gem

"Loved our stay at Stacey's and looking forward to returning. It's a perfect location for exploring Kailua-Kona and areas to the south (e.g., Cook's Bay, Two--Step/Place of Refuge, Black Sand Beach, Volcano National Park and the village). Beautiful property full of various kinds of fruit trees, and with views beyond to the ocean. All the toys you could possibly want: beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, snorkel gear). Nicely equipped kitchen along with an outdoor gas grill. Plenty of ceiling and floor fans to keep the interior temp comfortable, and it's already a tad cooler than Kona-town to begin with as it's at a a couple hundred feet or so above sea level. Don't forget the outdoor shower, which is a lovely green oasis. Really enjoyed getting to know Stacey while there too. Mahalo, Jean"

  • Perfect stay just steps from the beach and all the shops and restaurants.

"The studio apt. was very attractive and the Murphy wall-bed was super comfy. The best part, however, was the lush landscaping: simply exquisite!"

  • Wonderful view and all the comforts of home

"We spent five delightful nights in this property. Our favorite feature was the balcony with the fantastic view of the ocean and the sound of waves lapping the shore. We liked the location--near Kailua-Kona but not in the center of it. The condo has all of the comforts of home--fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer, nicely appointed bathroom, and wi-fi. If we come back to Kona, we will see if this property is available. Thanks, Ann!"

  • A wonderful 2 Weeks

"My partner and I spent two wonderful weeks in July 2016 staying with 5 other friends in this glorious location. The place is well equipped for large groups and sometimes we used both kitchens to prepare meals. We had lots of balconies to choose from and the top deck was stunning at sunset - a 360 degree view.We solved the challenge of the bedrooms often being through ways in this long narrow house, by using the balconies which surround the house on both level one and two. It really felt like being in a ship. The bay itself was a treasure to swim and snorkel in. Many days the spinner dolphins came in and we swam with them in the respectful way we had been shown - no reaching out and touching them and no chasing them. We just waited for them to come by us which was such a joyful experience. Staying in a hotel doesn't suit us nearly as well as being in this little village with a two minute walk to the bay or the pier. Manini beach close by was great for a sandy entry to the waters. Sylvia was great to correspond with. Thoroughly recommend this experience."
