  • A peaceful place to stay with all the comforts of home!

"We stayed in January 2017. The things I liked best about the condo were that it is very private, we didn't have to go up any stairs, the assigned parking spot was close to the front door, the condo was extremely well stocked with kitchen items, linens, and beach gear, and the condo and resort grounds were nicely maintained. The condo is an end unit and is tucked up against shrubs on one side and a golf course behind the condo. This makes it very private. The king size bed is very comfortable. The condo was very clean. The condo is within walking distance of a KTA grocery store and shops and restaurants. It is also within walking distance of Keahou Bay where you can take cruises or snorkeling tours (and great sunsets). The farmers market on Saturdays in the shopping center parking lot was very good. There is also a farmers market at the Sheraton on Fridays and Saturdays that was more of a gift market (not any produce). The beach gear included beach towels, two camping chairs, two boogie boards, noodles, beach mats, and some snorkeling masks. There is also a bath mat provided that we used to line the trunk of our car to try to keep the trunk clean. Gladys has really thought of everything! We didn’t need to use the air conditioning since the condo has several ceiling fans and a pedestal fan. The condo cooled right down once the sun went down with the patio doors open since it is on the ground floor. We did not use the pool since there were too many other places to visit during the day and the pool is closed after sunset. One tip for travelers: Bring re-usable bags for groceries. Stores do not supply plastic shopping bags (most have paper bags though). We went to Walmart and were very surprised that they did not provide any bags for our groceries. They were even sold out of re-usable bags. The other tip is that if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs since the golf course sprinkler system comes on in the middle of the night and it woke us up. We never met Gladys but we communicated by texting and she always got back to me quickly when I had questions. I would recommend this condo to anyone visiting Kona and would definitely stay there again. It is a very good value and is truly a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay."

  • An Excellent Choice for Our Group

"Unit 2003 was every bit as nice as the description made it sound. We found the unit clean and very nicely equipped. There were also plenty of towels, soap for kitchen/dishwasher/clothes washer, coffee filters, etc. We ate all our meals at the condo to save money. Really, the only negative for our group was that the third bedroom is not very private and those staying there must go downstairs to use the bathroom. This was described on the website so my point is just that this unit is probably better for 4 adults and 2 kids rather than 3 couples. This unit is very conveniently located both in terms of being right on the water and in terms of easy access. From Kona and points north you can take Hwy 11 to get there quickly. A complete shopping center is very close by but just far enough away that you don't notice it unless you go there. One last very fun thing to do.... a short walk from the condo is the Keauhou Canoe Club. They are very friendly and offer morning paddles for no charge. If you've never paddled an outrigger, this is your chance. Just show up in a bathing suit - they supply the paddle, a big boat you'll share with experienced members, and instruction. Be sure to hum the Hawaii 5-0 theme only to yourself!"

  • Beautiful Location

"We made our first trip to Kona over Christmas. We were very happy with the townhouse. It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and well stocked! The grounds are beautiful and the unit has an amazing view of the ocean. Sunsets from the lanai were breathtaking! The townhouse is in a great location. Quiet and secluded, but a short walk from a shopping centre that includes a grocery store and Long's. Also a short walk to the best snorkelling beach in Kona (10 minutes) and a quick drive to Magic Sands Beach. Rita was great to deal with. She was very helpful and made the process simple and stress free. We hope to get back to this piece of paradise!"
