  • Wonderfully comfortable and relaxing, gorgeous views and great amenities

"We would go back in a heartbeat, and definitely try to book this unit again. Yes it is a 3-floor walk-up, and there is no air conditioning, but with plenty of fans, sliding screen doors, an expansive wrap-around lanai for outdoor dining, watching sunsets and breaking waves, it's hard to picture a nicer spot. We only closed the glass sliders one evening when a tropical storm blew by. This an end unit with south and west exposure, really great views from third floor level. Third floor gives you the most privacy also. Being on the top floor, this unit had great high sloping ceilings which added significantly to the feeling of openness. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, a perfectly adequate kitchen with all the standard expected appliances, and the refrigerator has a dynamite ice maker and there are lots of cold packs in the freezer. Good size combined dining and living room, but my wife and I took all our meals out to the dining table on the lanai. Main bedroom area has a king bed, view of the ocean and there are sliding shoji screens that can be closed to provide privacy from the living/dining area if so desired. This bed was very comfortable. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and the windows in this room face the mountains. There are plenty of closets, lots of hangers, beach toys like noodles, coolers for packing lunches for day trips, plenty of beach towels, bath linens, etc. Although we only used the TV to check storm forecasts the instructions were easy to understand and lots of channels available. Also CD player in the unit and wi-fi in the complex. It seemed plenty fast for the business correspondence I occasionally needed to do with my morning coffee. I brought binoculars but owner also has two pair in the unit. The KKSRC has three really nice tennis courts and a large pool which is about to undergo some refurbishment. We spent time there every day and it was delightful. The grounds are very well tended and the landscaping is quite mature and lovely. To give the condo buildings and the townhouses some additional privacy there is no long continuous walk along the water edge or rather the 20'+ high, broken lava cliff edge. You can walk along a couple of the buildings and then the paths end either in broken lava scree or dense low barrier hedges which you don't want to try to walk through. Being an older resort (35+ years) it was built quite close to the ocean edge which makes for a delightful and picturesque setting."

  • A truly excellent Condo with everything you can want.

"We had the good fortune to book Clint's Oceanfront Townhouse and stayed for 14 days. It is simply a magic place to holiday in. Oceanfront definitely. Any closer and you would be in the ocean. The property is fully equiped with absolutely everything...arrive and start to enjoy the views, the sound of the waves, the convenience of being on the Kona Coast, the Magic Sands beach a about 3 minutes away (by motorcar), the snorkel beach even closer and the town ship of Kailua Kona less than 10 minutes away. The Townhouse is super comfortable, the beds are also super comfortable. The master bedroom views are outstanding and sleeping with the sound of the waves in the background was so restful. Beach chairs, bogey boards, mask and snorkels, a BBQ, the Lanai with its table and chairs and much more...everything you might need, its there somewhere. We loved staying here, we will be can for another holiday and stay again. It is that good."

  • Heaven on earth!

"My family absolutely loved this condo! We stayed for 15 nights, and hated to come back to the main land. I keep looking at my photos of the view off of the lanai and dreaming of going back. The unit is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including spices, condiments, toilet paper, etc. We just replenished some stock before we left. It was nice that we didn't have to run out to buy necessities the minute that we got there. We greatly appreciated the water shoes, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, as it saved having to rent them. As other renters mentioned, we spent alot of time on the lanai, as the view is incredible. The cross breeze off of the water was fantastic. Loved the fresh air feel. The Surf and Racquet Club complex is beautifully landscaped, which added to the heavenly feel. We greatly appreciated the propane grills located around the property. The location is great, loved the easy access to the Keauhou Shopping Center. We took advantage of the shops, cinema and salons on several occasions."

  • Great place with a magic view!

"This is real germ. Very cleaver layout, with a nice kitchen with everything you need. We are a young family and the place was a perfect for us to explore the region. 2steps and Kahaluu in the morning for world class snorkeling, the northern beaches in the afternoon and the most perfect sun set from the lanai (we saw the green flash!!!) . Excellent value and highly recommended. Note, this is Kona, and we went in July, so it was hot!!! But the fans allowed us to sleep well every night."
