  • Wonderful condo with breathtaking views

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed three nights at this rental and it was my favorite out of the whole trip! Very comfortable unit with the best location of the whole complex. The complex is gated, clean and well maintained. Amenities include tennis courts, BBQ pits and pool which we didn't use. The pool is for "residents" only, not sure on rules for the courts. There's a semi-private beach on the other side of the complex, good for walking but not swimming. Neighbors are friendly/talkative, though some may think them nosy/intrusive. We had no issues with noise or loud groups. The unit is next to the golf course with walkable paths at sunset where you can walk by a blowhole in the lava rocks. Views of the sunset are unbeatable! Lanai is somewhat public access, but we only had strangers cross a couple times who were out to take in the views. Complex is also near shopping complex with many restaurants, large grocery store. It is just down to street from great snorkeling beach (Kahaluu). The unit was well equipped with kitchen basics, bathrooms had towels and shampoo dispensers, we especially enjoyed the beach gear ranging from chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels etc. I loved the in unit washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable for my girls (age 3/2) and master had spacious bed. There is no AC, but plenty of fans and windows to take advantage of cooler breezes. Internet and TV were included and we used without issues. Several additional touches like library of guide books, ipod stereo added to the experience. Would highly recommend this place. Well worth it!"

  • Comforts of home

"Wonderful unit with extra touches. My extended family booked 3 condos in this complex and mine was the best. Even though there was no air conditioners, the unit had enough fans and air filter systems that kept the unit at a good temperature. Also, the unit only has small view of the ocean but that didn't matter as we were gone most of the time. The access to a small "backyard" for the kids was great in the morning and at the end of the day. The lanai is screened in which kept the bugs out. The kitchen had spices and seasonings for use. The resort is not too far from town but far enough for quiet nights. It is very close to the snorkel beach. The only "issue", and I say that lightly, is the pool was pretty cold. Even on a hot day, the pool was bit more than refreshing. I would definitely book this unit again!"

  • Tons of privacy, perfect location and perfect set up!

"Was looking for a place to celebrate a get together with siblings from back east. The waterfront, lanai and pictures of the inside of the condo are what made us choose this unit. What we found ended up being better than in the photos. We're into food and were pleasantly surprised with the kitchen supplies and set up. Also lots of privacy both inside the condo and outside (rooms well laid out and the building is the last at the end of the road). Little surprises we did not expect made our trip easier: access to a small cooler with ice packs and high grade Tupperware so we could bring lunches and food every day. The welcoming kit was also a nice touch. It rained a lot during the trip but we had all our meals outside, and our mellow after dinner time was also outside listening to the waves crashing. Very quiet place, clean and with beautiful landscaping. This being a corner unit gave us more lanai space and privacy than other units nearby. We were treated to a 30-min show of whales breaching right in front of the unit on our last morning. When arranging the booking, the owner was very responsive and accommodating and we never waited more than a day to get clarifications or updates. The unit played a role in giving us a beautiful and successful holiday. Would go back there in a snap for this kind of trip."

  • A Very Merry Christmas on the Big Island

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at David and June's townhouse at the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. The townhouse was exactly as pictured; clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The grounds were private and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed exploring the private beach area during the day to explore tide pools and in the evening for the amazing sunsets. The neighbors were very friendly and we could always find a chair at the pool. David and June were wonderful to work with and we are ready to start planning our next trip to Kona."
