"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So clean and roomy, perfect for large families. Wish it was closer to town since we was in town for a wedding all weekend. But on vacation you will enjoy the whole Alii drive cruise to the rental. Mahalo!"

  • Perfect Pad for 2 at a Great Value

"We stayed at this sweet little place for 3 weeks. This was our seventh booking on VRBO, and we were thoroughly pleased with what this condo provided. It is directly across from a great snorkel beach, and yet it is in a great central location for travel to the South or North. The condo was well organized and clean with the recent renovations obvious and fast free WiFi. The lanai is spacious and perfectly placed with a great view of the ocean and the sunset. We took full advantage of the provided beach gear, the spice cupboard, and the new washer and dryer. The air conditioned bedroom was great. Even though there was only the one air conditioner, it was able to cool down the bedroom and the living/kitchen area perfectly for a comfortable nighttime temperature. The condo is small (accommodates only 2 people comfortably), but the furniture fits the smaller square footage quite well. The bed is comfy. We didn't even use the small kitchen table for 2, as we ate a sunset dinner on the lanai every night. This is a small condo complex and the neighbours were all quiet. The condo association has a clubhouse room that has extra beach gear for people to use during their stay. The owners were well organized with booking and payment details. What more can I say? Great all around! We will be seeking this condo to rent again for our future visits."

  • Great Place to Get Away to.

"Sometimes what is promised online isn't what you get, but in this instance, we were very pleasantly surprised. The location and view was excellent. Kona Coast Resort is within walking distance to shopping, downtown Kona is a few minute drive where you can find lots of shops and restaurants. The lower pool with its bar and restaurant is a great place to chill. The Man Tai's there were the best we had (and we had many!). The food was excellent. The resort offered lots of things to do and we did try some of them. My only complaint to the condo was that the chair in the living room is well past it's prime. The cushion has lost its padding and when you sit on it, it's like sitting on hard wood. I'm also not fond of tile counter tops, but that's just personal taste. We would go back to Kona Coast Resort without a second thought. I wish I was back there right now!!"

  • Kona Stay

"Our stay in Pauls rental was exceptional. We truly had a wonderful time. I brought my family of four including a teenager and a 2 year old. The location was fantastic. It is located across the street from the beach were the snorkeling was great. We saw turtles, fish and some scattered coral. The cleaning staff around the units were great too. Everyone seemed to be willing to give us insight to the things we wanted to do and suggestions of places to go were great. Bob was fantastic too. He really made the stay comfortable and we felt very welcome. The place is located on a "busy" street but it never bothered us at all. The only concern we had when we first showed up was the AC. We had not paid for the convenience. It turned out to not be needed. Once the sun goes down and the fans are on the house is quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Kona."
