  • Heaven on earth!

"My family absolutely loved this condo! We stayed for 15 nights, and hated to come back to the main land. I keep looking at my photos of the view off of the lanai and dreaming of going back. The unit is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including spices, condiments, toilet paper, etc. We just replenished some stock before we left. It was nice that we didn't have to run out to buy necessities the minute that we got there. We greatly appreciated the water shoes, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, as it saved having to rent them. As other renters mentioned, we spent alot of time on the lanai, as the view is incredible. The cross breeze off of the water was fantastic. Loved the fresh air feel. The Surf and Racquet Club complex is beautifully landscaped, which added to the heavenly feel. We greatly appreciated the propane grills located around the property. The location is great, loved the easy access to the Keauhou Shopping Center. We took advantage of the shops, cinema and salons on several occasions."

  • Great location, Great Property, Great Price.

"Our second time in the Surf and Racquet club due to its proximity to Kailua Kona, and excellent snorkelling just north of the condo, and 20 mile south at two-step. This really is a great location. If you like these activities, and also like whiling away the hours with a good book, a glass of wine, and a view of the ocean, I highly recommend it. The condo was huge - could have slept 6. At least that way, my wife did not have to endure my snores, and I could sleep with the doors and drapes open. The Lanai gives a great view of the ocean, and has room for sunbeds and a table. There was a little maintenance item: upstairs blinds has ceased. This was of no concern to us because were were not using that room anyway."

  • Perfect location, comfortable house

"Comfortable, clean house located across the street from wonderful snorkeling and convenient to many other lovely beaches and sightseeing. The kitchen has new appliances, there are plenty of dishes and towels and other amenities, there's a washer and dryer, and there are nice outdoor spaces for sitting and eating and watching the ocean. The house is just enough off the main street to be relatively quiet. Great base of operations for a visit to the Kona side of Hawaii. A few considerations: – There is no air conditioning and it does get warm, but you can keep the space cool by using the windows, window shades and the many fans available in the house. – This is probably not the best option for people with physical challenges; each room is on its own floor and you do have to climb stairs. – There are two parking spots, but they're not the easiest to get into if you're not used to parallel parking. Consider renting a small to medium sized car instead of a behemoth SUV."
