  • You have a lovely home that worked perfectly for u

"Kathy we enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as promised and the pictures do not do the location justice. The morning view every day was fantastic as were the sunsets and we truly did not want to leave. You have a lovely home that worked perfectly for us. The house is well stocked with every necessity and the location was very convenient to the water, shopping, golfing, dinner out as well as travelling around the island. As you had suggested we did not need the air conditioning as the house temperature stayed pleasant all day and the gentle ocean breeze at night along with the ceiling fans made sleeping comfortable. Looking forward to returning. Mike - Ontario"

  • Fabulous condo facing the best snorkelling beach ever!

"Loved the condo. Spacious, clean, light and airy - the sea breezes blew through it to keep it cool even though it was pretty hot when we were there. Gorgeous pool and surrounding area, we used it every day. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our vacation special - water shoes, kids life jackets, beach chairs and umbrella. There was snorkelling kit too (we didn't need to borrow it as we had our own), body boards and paddle board - meant to use them but never quite got round to it! Best of all though was the beach opposite - not the prettiest to look at but nice facilities (showers, snorkelling rental if you need it) and AMAZING snorkelling. The water is not that deep so you're up close to the fish, like being in an aquarium. And sea turtles too. Duane was super responsive and easy to deal with. The onsite manager Sonya was very helpful, organised, great recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We chose the place because it was away from the big resorts - close enough to civilisation when we wanted it but without the crowds. We visited several beaches in our 4 days there, the kayaking across kealakekua bay (with the dolphins!) was a highlight. Great trip with Kona Boys. Highly recommend the condo."

  • Great location

"Super accommodations with quiet area and pleasant owners. A little far from the main part of Kona but very near a shopping mall with a nice bar for watching the sunset!"

  • well maintained condo complex, stylish condo

"The condo is well equipped and lovely, landscaping is first-rate. The high ceiling really makes it feel spacious, and the space is well decorated. The private Lanai screened by plants is large and comfortable, and the condo is very close to the pool area (two pools) which is first-rate. Easy walk to the Sheraton, the local pier, and to a mall with a supermarket and a few shops, restaurants (but not close to anything else; not close to the town of Kailua). We were very happy with this rental, and would rent it again were we to visit this part of Hawaii. A few things to keep in mind: --unlike other units in this complex which are higher on the hill, this unit has no view of the ocean. --you must have a car (which is not uncommon, of course) --there is a road near the condo (not the roadway where you park, but a suburban road). If you want to be away from roads this might bother you. It did not bother us. --the advice on what to do nearby, in the condo guide, is worth reading and in general good. I would just add this advice: for complete novice snorkelers, the beach behind the King Kamehameha Hotel is a wonderful place to learn (75-5660 Palani Road Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740) --there is no air conditioning, but there are excellent fans. We were never hot inside, and prefer not to use air conditioning in general. If you need arctic cool, this is not for you. --About 630 in the morning the bugs and the birds begin their morning songs. What a marvelous alarm clock."
