"We did not stay at this location. We arranged with C K Kimberly to move to another location at Kona Pacific, don't you have that in your books?"

"My husband and I loved our time at this beautiful absolute oceanfront condo! The location was perfect! The condo itself was very nice. We liked the floorplan the furniture and the beds were comfy! We also enjoyed all the extras the owner provided. The owner was kind and very helpful!"

  • Very nice condo in pleasant setting

"The unit is well equipped and in very good condition, and was obviously recently repainted. Nice 2-level layout that gives plenty of space, which we appreciated for our 7 night stay. Spent much of our time on upper level deck which has terrific ocean and palm tree views. Good location that is fairly convenient to reach South Kona attractions (Capt Cook, 2 Step, and mantas that are just down the street). It is also 15 minutes to Kailua, though we had no real need to go there. Only downside is that, like many units along the coast, there is no AC. Mornings and most evenings were no problem, but late afternoon and early evening can be quite uncomfortable as unit faces west (which has the benefit of nice sunsets). Complex has a nice pool area to escape the heat and is generally quiet (at least when we were there in Nov), though we had some noisy neighbors near the end of our stay. Visitors to Kona Coast should also be aware of vog, haze caused by temperature inversion and Volcanic gas. No breathing or odor issues for us, but it did limit views in late afternoon from some locations as there were no trade winds during our stay to blow out the vog. North Kona resorts are a bit clearer."
