  • FAB-U-LOUS!!!

"Everything you'd need, is there! This is my 6th go around with VRBO and AirBnB and I've gotta tell you, I have yet to be disappointed. Hotels should take caution for with this option and the rates? Hotels are going to be a thing of the past. Where do I begin...privacy. The foliage is grown to offer just that...and peaceful aside from the Coqui's which is fine because my family and I slept well still. Better the Coqui's up mauka (mountain) than traffic noise and sounds of O'ahu. The house is comfortable, welcoming and very spacious. We were there for an entirely sad reason, but being in this home and only a few miles from Ho'okena Beach made the mood a little bit lighter. Bob, my family and I cannot thank you enough for your hospitality. I do apologize for the late review, but I didn't want to post a modest review. I needed to post exactly what your property deserves. I'd definitely send people your way. Mahalo Bob Hoffman a me Hale Honu!!!"

  • An amazing oasis

"We had been on the big island a few times before, and were now looking for a place near the south side to explore that area. If you enjoy something special, in an area befitting one of the most active volcanic places in the world, this is the place to stay! It is like an oasis in a moon-like landscape, with a completely open view of the ocean. The apartment is spacious, with all facilities, and the owners (Bob and Sue) who live upstairs are very quiet, stay out of the way, but are there for you if you need anything or have questions about the surroundings. The private pool is all to yourself. We would go back in a heartbeat!"

  • We hope we can stay here again some time!

"We stayed two weeks at Papalani Farm and basked in the healing atmosphere of this cozy farmhouse. We had everything we needed and Nikki was a perfect hostess. We received healing energies from the expert massages (the best any of us had ever had) and the Infrared Sauna. We loved the outdoor shower too. The organic foods from the farm were delightful, and some days we just stayed "home" and enjoyed the books and sweet breeze from the open doors. Nikki told us where to find dolphins and we spent over two hours out in the bay swimming with 30-plus dolphins all around us! Lots of Fun - Lots of Sunshine - Lots of Healing - Lots of Love! PS: Our favorite place to eat lunch was at Rebel's Kitchen in Captain Cook! Valerie"

  • A wonderful getaway spot on the South Kona coast

"This place is great for a couple with nice ocean and sunset views. We loved hanging out on the lanai watching the geckos and listening to the birds. Our main reason for picking this location was the proximity to Hawaii Volcanoes Natl Park - little more than an hour away. Although a bit of a treck to the store, we were out often enough to plan shopping with our outings. The little beach noted by the owners was a great place for a first time snorkeler. The home is very well appointed with very comfy bed. We enjoyed the hot tub too! Thanks for the nice accomodations!"
