  • great condo

"We are regular visitors to Kona and have stayed in a number or condos along Alii Drive. This one ranks at the top because it is so close to town yet quiet and relaxing because it is off of the street and right on the ocean. The unit itself is well equipped with a comfortable bed and though the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to make a decent meal. Really appreciated the binoculars in the cupboard to observe everything that comes and goes on the water. No hairdryer provided, but I left one for others to use. Common space is well tended but we found the pool too warm for the hot August days and evenings. Hope to return one day!"

  • Great downtown location in Kona

"This was a definite studio one room to stay. Loved the larger refrigerator in unit. Good location in downtown Kona for walking. The only drawback was the wifi. Had to contact owner to get help and got it the 3rd day, then I could only get wifi outside on the deck and then it went away when I went back inside the unit. I ended up going to the lobby with computer to use. Loved having laundry facilities on site and it was clean and well taken care of."

  • We loved this property ,well maintained, beautifully decorated

"We had 7 people in our group. We enjoyed the kitchen and laundry facilities. Everything was well stocked. Fans were great,AC-would be better! We loved the Beach pool and BBq grill, able to enjoy dining with a view! It's close to the Sheraton where we went to a luau. Walking distance to some shops. Views of the beach, sounds of the ocean! We would use this property again."

  • Conveniently located, excellent view and private too

"My husband and I had the most enjoyable week in this home. We travel to Kona once or twice a year. This home is located on the hill right above Kona Town and it was so convenient to all of the attractions and shopping. My main requirement was met: I could see the ocean from the kitchen and living room. I thought the bed in the Master Bedroom was positioned on the wrong wall, until I woke up the next morning and saw the sun glinting off the beautiful tropical garden in the back yard. Pinch me, we're in Hawaii! The house is very well stocked with appliances, beach toys and towels, as others reported. While we used only the master bedroom, this house does offer great privacy if you wanted to have another couple in the second bedroom. The size of the home was similar to a condo, but while the surrounding yard was not large, it gave you the perfect buffer of privacy. The only thing lacking was a clubhouse with pool and spa. I never found one if it did exist. However, this home was such a short drive to the ocean, we just drove to our favorite snorkel and kayaking spots instead."
