  • Peace and quiet off the grid

"This remote spot South of Captain Cook was just the antidote to the busy stress of urban living. Time stood still in the peaceful mornings and gentle evenings listening to the tree frogs sing us to sleep at night. We had everything we needed to cook, hot showers and plenty of privacy. Nikki is a fantastic host with lots of local knowledge and contacts."

  • Kona Kai

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was just as described on line, but it was a much nicer feel because of the outside space and the proximity to the ocean. We felt safe the whole time and I would stay there again. Our family LOVED it!"

  • Spacious and homey

"We just returned from 10 days on the Big Island (Feb.2-12). There were 4 adults and 4 teen-agers and we still had room left over in the house. Views are outstanding. Mornings we sipped coffee and watched surfers, parasailers and whales breeching. The evenings we soaked in the sunsets taking spectacular photos from our balcony. There is no binoculars which would have been a nice touch so if you are staying here bring your own. The pool and surrounding area is perfect. There was a lot of heavy winds and strong rip currents during our stay so the pool was a wonderful alternative. The location of the house is perfect. 10 -15 mins from snorkelling beaches and Safeway and Costco. Downtown Kailua-Kona is only 5 mins. away depending on traffic. If you are travelling with a large family or 2 smaller families then this is the house for you. The last day we were flying out at 11pm and our hosts allowed us a very late check-out (fortunately they didn't have anyone coming in right after us). We were so appreciative. Mahalo."
