  • Great Place

"Very nice place. This unit has what you need to be self sufficient while on vacation. Not much is needed except your own personal items. The kitchen has pots and pans, appliances are updated and well maintained. The only item in the kitchen I felt needed to be updated was the cutlery. The unit has great access to the pool, common area and the exercise room. Looking forward to my next trip."

  • Perfect location, incredible pool

"We had an incredible stay at this house over Christmas and New Year's. The layout of the house is perfect, with 3 rooms which I would basically call masters. This was great for our family which included 3 generations of couples (30 yo, 55yo, and 80 yo), no one ended up with a 'bad' room. This has definitely been a problem for us in the past, finding a house with 3 rooms which all have large beds and their own large bathoom/closet is definitely difficult. The 'Ohana' Suite was great as it afforded us a bit more privacy being disconnected from the rest of the house, but not too far at all. One story also made it really easy for our elderly guests. Another great benefit is the ability to use the facilities at the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Prince hotels (this was for an additional fee, but very modest when compared to the cost of the rest of the vacation, and definitely worth it). They are just down the road, not very walkable (distance wise is not bad but it is up a pretty steep hill) but valet is free and parking is included, so no big deal. We ate at a few of the restaurants there and they were great. The beach at both hotels was really nice and you don't have to bring anything down with you because you are provided with chairs and towels. We didn't spend too much time there though because the pool and house was so incredible. Within a relatively short drive (<15 minutes) you also have access to a number of restaurants at some of the other resorts. As long as you are eating there valet parking is free, so it is really easy. There is also a Foodland fairly close, easy for making the occasional grocery run. For the golfers, Donna is a platinum member and as a guest at one of her houses you get special rates at the Hapuna and Mauna Kea golf courses. The discount was pretty significant, making the golf a bit more affordable. If you are hesitant on the Big Island (which we were a little) I say go for it! We liked it more than our past stays in Honolulu. Not as many people, but plenty to do. We saw the volcanos, did an ATV tour, snorkeled, and relaxed. Additionally I think it one of the warmest and driest parts of any of the islands. During our stay it seemed to be raining every else, except where we were. All in all it was an incredible stay and we are ready to go back next year!"

  • Perfect location

"While much could be said about how nicely decorated and maintained this condo is, what is really special is the location. The condo itself is truly ocean front with the lanai sitting just above the waves. And the resort itself is within easy walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. All in all, it couldn't be better."
