  • Beautiful home! Well equipped with everything you need. Pool and beach area were lovely.

"Pictures do not do this lovely home justice! My family and I had great time and working with the owner was easy and pleasant. You will not be disappointed in this booking!"

  • Fabulous condo facing the best snorkelling beach ever!

"Loved the condo. Spacious, clean, light and airy - the sea breezes blew through it to keep it cool even though it was pretty hot when we were there. Gorgeous pool and surrounding area, we used it every day. Lots of thoughtful touches to make our vacation special - water shoes, kids life jackets, beach chairs and umbrella. There was snorkelling kit too (we didn't need to borrow it as we had our own), body boards and paddle board - meant to use them but never quite got round to it! Best of all though was the beach opposite - not the prettiest to look at but nice facilities (showers, snorkelling rental if you need it) and AMAZING snorkelling. The water is not that deep so you're up close to the fish, like being in an aquarium. And sea turtles too. Duane was super responsive and easy to deal with. The onsite manager Sonya was very helpful, organised, great recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We chose the place because it was away from the big resorts - close enough to civilisation when we wanted it but without the crowds. We visited several beaches in our 4 days there, the kayaking across kealakekua bay (with the dolphins!) was a highlight. Great trip with Kona Boys. Highly recommend the condo."

  • Carol is a great host, easy going and considerate.

"The house is hidden away in the slopes of the mountain and a peaceful retreat for those who don't mind a 30 minute or so drive to sites in Kona. However, it's very close to great snorkelling sites- Kealakelua bay. The room is spacious and clean with a microwave and coffee maker. Carol also has a collection of snorkelling/beach gear. We had a lovely time."

  • Fantastic family experience in Kona

"My family of five had an amazing time in Kona. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. We cooked in most days - usually on the grill - and at outside or on the lanai. It was quite hot while we were there in August. The trade winds were not blowing until our last day. Still, we were quite comfortable with the ceiling fans and box fans. We toured the island, but almost every day, made it back to Magic Stands beach. The boogie boarding was consistently great. (The undertow is strong, so it's not ideal for small children.) I loved that everything we needed for the beach was provided - beach chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, towels. Kathy and Steve were a joy to coordinate with. They answered my many questions in advance and even a couple while we were there."
