  • Beautifully furnished and exquisitely equipped 3 BR Condo on the water.

"We spent a week in 15G at Hali i Kai and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations, setting, or amenities. Our whole family was very comfortable. The unit is well designed and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is completely equipped (better than our home in fact) with state of the art appliances, cook ware, utensils, and staples. A bottle of champagne was in the fridge, a pound of coffee on the counter, and a fruit basket on the dining room table when we arrived. If you are accustomed as we were to sparsely equipped condo units without so much as salt and pepper on hand, this will be a very welcome surprise. It felt as though friends had welcomed us in to their home, encouraged us to use what was there, and trusted that we would replace or add items as we left. We were happy to. Views of the ocean from both levels, and in particular from the upper and lower roofed balconies are expansive and gave us a chance to see humpback whale activity every day. The pool, fitness area, and Ocean-Club bar and restaurant are beautiful, and only a hundred yards or so away. Food at the Ocean Club was great and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The location, about 6 miles from Waikoloa Village, is a perfect jump-off point for sight seeing on the Big Island and avoids the traffic in an around Kailua Kona to the south. It is about 20 minutes to the airport. All in all we had absolutely no complaints and would love to visit again in the future. We highly recommend Mark Mavis and this lovely property."

  • Perfect Waikoloa condo

"It is always with some trepidation that one enters a rental property listed on VRBO but fortunately for us our fears were allayed as soon as we crossed the threshold. The apartment was bright, clean and inviting. A basket of fruit, bubbly and coffee was on the counter. A nice welcoming touch. It was our home for 3 weeks and one we loved returning to each evening. We ate all our meals out on the beautiful lanai and the sunsets were spectacular. Everything was close by, beaches, shops, restaurants. Kona is about a 30 minute drive away and if you wanted to stock up on groceries you could pop into Costco. We didn't as we preferred to shop at the local grocery store at Mauna Lani, which was just up the road. The kitchen was well equipped and a joy to cook in. The bathrooms were spacious and there was a large tub in the master bathroom which was lovely to soak in. We loved A301 and would not hesitate to go back. I just have to mention the lighting which was excellent and for someone whose eyes aren't quite as good as they used to be it was a pleasure to read in the evenings. The owner was easy to deal with and addressed any questions in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to friends."

  • Wonderful Property in Great Location

"We had the privilege of staying at this condo for 3 months, and enjoyed every minute of it! The owners have taken such care to provide everything you could possibly need for your stay here. The moment we walked in it just felt like home, and so perfect! They have been meticulous in providing a wonderfully equipped kitchen, and even have all instruction manuals available should you need them! The condo is decorated beautifully, and has such a comfortable and relaxing feel to it. We loved eating breakfast on the Lanai, and watching the dolphins spinning nearly every morning! Valentine's Day we were treated to a whale breaching just off the shore, in perfect view of the Lanai....what better way to start the day could there possibly be? The location is absolutely perfect both in the complex, and in the town. Terry and Jim were very kind and helpful....a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend this property, and are hoping to return one day ourselves. Thank you both for providing such an oasis for travelers!"
