  • Perfect Puna Location

"We absolutely adored this jungle hideaway. The tree house was very clean and homey. The location was perfect for taking in the sites of the Puna district. We soaked in the hotponds, danced with the locals at Kehena Black Sand beach, and snorkeled in the tidepools all of which were located on the gorgeous red road. We had an amazing time and woukd definitely recommend this charming place to our friends!!"

  • Great house in a great location!

"This is a beautiful house with ocean view. The great room was large and comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. The two lanai and an outdoor patio invited outdoor living. The location is away from the most touristy parts of the Big Island but both Pahoa and Hilo are within easy reach. The famous Kehena black sand beach was only minutes away. And though we were on the rainy side of the Big Island, we were blessed with several days of nearly clear and warm Hawaiian weather. The management was responsive before, during and after our stay. We would certainly stay here again."

  • Amazing ocean views, unforgettable experience !

"We stayed at the Cliff house for three days and had tons of fun. It is a very interesting house, well stocked and beautifully furnished, tasteful decor and... AMAZING views from every room. The location is quite something: Cliff house says it all, as you are perched on a triangular land with ocean splashing on both sides: perfect, quiet and majestic. Front seat for witnessing wonderful storms and sunrises alike. Sleeping at the sound of crashing waves below is just something you must do once in your life. Experience the power of nature! Amazing stargazing and photo op for the camera inclined. The local "hidden" beach is fun and we enjoyed it very much. We stayed there with our two girls (age 4 and 6) and they manage to stay safe inside (circular stair) and outside (cliff). Make friend with the home gecko and the mosquitos will stay away ;)"

  • We loved it!

"Our small family stayed at the honey house in early June 2016, and we absolutely loved it. The house is very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The garden is out of this world and the frog chorus at night and birds in the morning are very special. Dave is a wonderful host, kind, welcoming and quiet. He made us feel at home and we loved the red papayas for breakfast. The black sand beach and the tide pools are absolutely beautiful and worth visiting. I highly recommend this place to anyone and hope to back one day myself."
