  • Perfect location and lovely home away from home!

"Linda was so accommodating to me and very flexible. I had everything I needed and the property was filled with fruit trees for the picking. I have family on the island and I feel so fortunate to know I have a place to return to to call home. I highly recommend Ku'ylei Hale!"

  • Lovely Cottage

"in a beautiful area. It truly is away from it all -- bring breakfast with you if you come in the evening, or it's a trip to Pahoa. It's very near the lava flow viewing area, and the perfect place to drink coffee, look at the water and the tiny neighborhood around you, and pretend you're retired to the Big Island. :) Be aware that the cottage number is obscured by hibiscus if you are driving along the street. A kind neighbor helped us find it in the dark and rain. The bed is made of magic."

  • Comfortable, quiet, and lovely.

"We loved staying at Bill's Rainbow Orchards Cottage. It was so comfortable, spacious, and surrounded by such lush and colorful vegetation it made you feel like you were in a magical treehouse. Bill left us delicious eggs from his chickens and an array of ripe fruit to enjoy. He was friendly and helpful and provided advice and everything else we needed. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with my coffee and watching the geckos. I fell in love with the geckos! The Puna coast is a gorgeous part of the island, especially if you love getting away from the tourist crowds and being immersed in a jungle atmosphere. The snorkeling at the tide poos was great, especially for the coral, and the lava heated pools were really amazing. Check out the black sand beach down the road for swimming."

  • Spring break stay, blown away by this home

"This home was better than I was hoping! In fact, after walking through the front door my husband high-fived me. Beautiful woodwork throughout the home. Master bedroom has beautiful natural light. We would definitely book another stay at this home, and highly recommend it to others."
