Vacation rentals near Kaka'ako Waterfront Park

We enjoyed our stay at the Executive Center. It took a bit to figure out exactly where it was, but once in it's a breeze. Dane does a good job explaining the check-in process, but it's still a little confusing coming in the first time. My advice is to just park right in front and put your hazards on. It's a "no parking" zone, but just do it...others do. Dane will tell you to do it. We were hesitant at first, but after going around the block a couple times my husband stayed in the car while I ran inside. We liked walking the neighborhood and checking out the nooks and crannies between all of the tall financial buildings. From the harbor and Chinatown, to a farmer's market pop-up, and the Paris Baguette bakery--so much to see. We also enjoyed finding coffee shops (not all are open on the weekend though) and our favorite was a little place called "Downtown Coffee." We were in town for a college baseball weekend, so much of our time was spent at the field and down in Waikiki. While it was fun to be down by the beach, it was SO crowded. Coming back to the Executive Center each night was peaceful and relaxing. The unit has a great view, too.

The location is excellent. Parking was easy. Short walk for food. Condo has nice little extras like beach chairs and beach towels.

Christy (the host) was the best to work through VRBO customer service issues. She's very patient and was always available. Truly a remarkable host. The pictures of the condo property are right on, and the view from the lanai is spectacular. The condo was very clean and stocked with most of what you would find at your home. The partition to block off bed area from the living space is a bonus and was much appreciated for those going to bed early. Bed was comfortable. It was a bonus to have beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, and if you have children, there are some pool/beach items for them as well. From our lanai, there was no noise from the pool area, nor anywhere in our area. We were able to view 2 Hula shows from our lanai that were taking place across the street at the Hilton. Plus, there's a Friday Hula Show within the courtyard of the Ilikai. Wakaki Beach is within walking distance, as is many restaurants, shops, or sunset boat cruises. We were up every day to see the sunrise from our lanai and then view the sunset which is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Pesca restaurant elevator was great for a bird's eye view of the harbor and sunset. Food and service were excellent. The Ilikai and this condo added to the best part of our 8-day trip to Oahu. Looking forward to returning and would only stay at the condo. Thank you, Christy, for the effort that you put forth to make this condo a great place to stay for your guests.

Our stay was great! The view is what makes this room a steal. It's an older building, but you get what you pay for. Sonya is a wonderful owner, and she is very knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time, and we would book this room again.

My wife and I were very satisfied for our two-week stay. The apartment was as advertised: in the heart of Waikiki, a stone's throw from the Halekulani, Sheraton/Royal Hawaiian, and DeRussy Park; excellent water view and coast northward; apartment very clean and comfortable, as well as the building (Imperial Waikiki); staff responsive and accommodating.

We were so happy with this condo! The views are spectacular, the ocean view right there! Friday light fireworks, clean linens, utensils ready to cook food, drawers for clothes, washer & dryer huge plus!!! Close by stores to grab food: i suggest safeway is better than walmart 100%, no chicken or beef at walmart. The condo was very clean, very easy access to beachfront, private gate goes right out to the beach, we used a water proof phone carrier for the key & door code & just left everything else in the room so we could swim without phones! The steak place right below is fantastic, abc stores everywhere, easy walking to many designer stores, we walked everywhere, rented a car nearby, walked there, drive for a day was like $25 in gas because not many miles! Be sure to go to waimea falls, dole plantation, macadamia nut farm, luau, pearl harbor, drive the coast. Try dolphins & u as well!! What else...!! Lots of food options, but we walked to walmart, big mistake, its a mess there, 1.5 miles away and ubered back but saved on eating out, went to safeway and realized way more meat options! You gotta try hawaiian fish, we tried blue marlin and some others, yum! You gotta book this condo, next time we hope we will book the same one! Snorkle gear there as well, no flippers. Beach towels, beach chairs and much more for use!!! We loved our stay!! The condo + waikiki beach was a fantasy come true! Thank you!!!!

We wanted a place where we could see the beach from our balcony and be able to walk from our unit onto the beach. We didn’t need a lot of space, and The Waikiki Shores provided all we needed. We didn’t get to spend as much time taking advantage of the beach access and view as we would have liked due to our short stay and other excursions around the island. But we loved it and were able to rent a car from First Rental Cars, which is located only a few blocks away and provides free overnight parking. (You can rent cars at the airport for less, but you then have to pay high fees for parking garages nearby. So the location of Waikiki Shores and First Rental Cars was a perfect combination.) We were welcomed at the condo by Kai and Martin, and Martin gave us a detailed tour of the condo. The condo looks exactly like the photos in the listing. The balcony has mirrors on both sides which allow you to see views from all directions (but are a bit discombobulating when you keep seeing yourself in the reflection and think there is someone behind you! LOL). The unit doesn’t provide coffee, and there was only hand soap in the shower but under the bathroom sink were a variety of body washes, sun screen, and hair products left by previous tenants. So if you don’t bring your own, you are probably okay. The unit doesn’t provide any beach amenities such as lounging chairs, umbrellas, or body boards, but it does offer a small cooler with freezer packs. I would definitely stay there again.

This property is located right at the center of Waikiki and everything is just in walkable distance. Loved the view from Patio and the room was good enough for 4 people.
