  • Tropical paradise in Kauai

"We really enjoyed our 7 night stay in Kapahi, Kauai. The bottom rental was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. A large porch is right outside your door to enjoy the tropical gardens below. Jai had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a island book of great places to visit and eat; she was also available if you had questions/concerns. I think what really made the trip is that the rental is in a fabulous location. We could be on either side of the coast in 45 minutes. And the town of Kapaa is 5 minutes from the house where there are bike rentals, eateries and gorgeous beaches. So you had all this and then could retreat to the top of the hill where it was peaceful and quiet - and enjoy the chickens and roosters. Merlina, the cat was also a plus!"

  • Better than perfect!

"We were delighted by everything this accommodation offered...a few minutes away from Kapaa, (a lovely town), an amazing view of the mountains with lovely birds and cool breezes. There were 3 ducks that greeted us daily and made us feel part of the family. The huge bed and couch were very comfortable. Not having a full kitchen gave me the perfect excuse to eat out or have my husband grill our dinners. There was also beach ware for us to use as we wished, (boogie boards, cooler, mats and towels). This place was a steal for the price and couldn't have been more perfect for us! Thank you to host Julie, and puppy Pilot!"

  • Beautiful place with perfect setting!

"We really loved this place - Al and Patty were great hosts, and yet we felt like a wonderful, private place to our own. There was a lot of work put into this place - small details, like electric operated blinds and rope accent lights made the place that much more special - nice touches everywhere! What we loved best was the table under the deck by the pool - we ate every meal out there. Another great feature is laying in the bed and watching the ocean out the sliding glass door. We had the sliding glass doors open the whole time we were there - love that ocean sound! We saw one turtle stick his head up about 100 feet off shore, and I really liked sitting or standing on the sea wall and watching the spouting horn and the waves. We would stay here again! The only negative, and it is minor, is that there are so many light switches and other switches that we often had to hunt to find the right switch for the light we wanted to turn on! Another plus we really appreciated was that the place was well stocked - sunscreen, bug repellent, and other things were helpful. I'm sure this is stuff left behind by others, but it was nice to find that there. Thanks again for a wonderful stay - we celebrated our 10th anniversary here!"

  • Lush oasis in the trees!

"Loved staying in the cottage this week! Only regret was not staying longer and getting a lomi lomi massage. The cottage is very cute with a beautiful view of Jai's gardens and the ocean out in the distance. Very clean and well-appointed and with a comfortable King sized bed which we enjoyed. Kapa'a town is only a ten minute drive - full of good eats and whatever else you might need. Jai recommended Tiki Tacos one night and we are still talking bout those delicious tacos. This would be a very comfortable place to spend a week. Much more personal than a hotel and tucked away in the treetops. Four people could easily stay but two would need to bunk up in the loft and climb a little ladder to do so- which might be a challenge for some. We enjoyed sharing our place with those lil geckos instead."
