  • Our Paradise Home away from Home.

"Upon our first visit to the condo, we sensed an immediate peacefulness enhanced by the view from the private lanai overlooking the blue waters of Kauai. The condo has been tastefully decorated with many examples of their personal art and handiwork. You will find a spacious master bedroom with a large adjoining bathroom. The kitchen has all of the necessary cooking utensils , cutlery and pans if you prefer to cook in. We had 4 home-cooked meals. There were several large Weber BBQs available in various locations including the pool area. The living and dining rooms form an open floor plan. The owners provided various Television options including Roku. We were close to various shopping venues for food, entertainment and relaxation. The Wailua golf course is minutes away as well as the beautiful town of Kappa. Thid unit is a great place to plan trips to Princeville, Waimea and the south shore. A MUST dining experience is the Bistro in the quaint town of Kilauea. We chose a helicopter adventure to learn and see Kauai where most roads do not go. If you are history motivated, the Kauai museum will not disappoint. Lastly, we found it hard to leave our paradise home away from home!! We highly recommend this 5 star property. Can't wait to return."

  • Just right!

"Our family of four, including 2 adult children, had a great time staying at Bob & Marianne’s `Ohi`a Kai Hale. The layout and size of the house, including 2 king beds and inflatable mattresses, was great for 4 adults, not easy to find in hotels or condos. We especially liked the location of the house, which is in a regular neighborhood, not in a tourist area. Thus, we were able to have a “native” experience, yet could walk to the restaurants and shops easily. Having access to a washer a dryer was surprisingly handy for re-using clothes that suffered from shave ice spills and other hazards. Also, the owners provided a hard-sided cooler that was extremely useful for taking food with us on day trips, as well as snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. Lots of towels, and kitchen fully stocked. This rental was just what we wanted. However, it’s not for everyone. If you’re looking for an immaculate environment, where everything is new and perfect, look elsewhere. This is more like visiting the home of a relative—little things need fixing, some could be upgraded. However, we found this to be charming and more authentic in the island style. For immersion travelers, it was just right."

  • Wonderful superb beachfront condo

"My husband and I have rented many properties on the other islands but this was our first visit to Kauai. We could not have been more pleased with this condo. From the moment we walked in to the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks right outside the lanai we knew we had made the right choice. The condo is steps away from a beautiful sandy beach and within minutes from fabulous restaurants of all varieties. greatMexican food, delicious pizza, great coffee, Freshly baked passion fruit and cream cheese croissants went perfectly with coffee on the lanai each day. Happy hour cocktails at the Lava Lava beach club with our feet in the sand was under 5 minutes walking distance. We kayaked across the road with the incredible Kayak Wailua company, hiked to waterfalls, went on the bike trail, snorkeled at Anini beach park, visited the breathtaking Polihale beach park at the end of the island, snorkeled with turtles and many more things too numerous to list. The condo is equipped with everything you could think of. Shayne obviously thought of what he would like if he was staying there and provided it and more. There is even a kettle which for us cup of tea loving Brits is perfect. There are 2 brand new tvs which we did not even take the covers off, great wi if service, plenty of parking and even binoculars so you can verify it was a humpback you just watched breaching whilst you were sitting on the lanai. The beds were comfortable, there is zero noise from the road and booking with Shayne was easy and efficient. He had great suggestions for our stay and was helpful when we changed our booking half way through our vist. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay to be centrally located to access both ends of the island then this is the condo for you. You will not be disappointed. We would return here on our next trip to Kauai."

  • Great Condo! Great View!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: H304 is a great condo with a great view. First, the location has a view of both the pool and ocean. It is also convent to get down to the pool. It's not far from the stairs and elevator. The interior has been updated and the beds are both roomy and comfortable. Having two showers is really convenient for a family. The washer and dryer seem to be brand new which allowed us to keep up with our laundry very easily. Lastly, the kitchen has everything you need and is even well stocked with most of your basic needs."
